    How it Works

PetArmor works the same way as Frontline Top Spot, providing full-body protection to help keep your pets flea and tick free. And they stay gone for 30 days. It's that simple. PetArmor contains fipronil, so it kills fleas and ticks on your pet. Even new fleas that hatch later will be killed when they jump on your pet. PetArmor is just as safe and effective as Frontline Top Spot.

What can I expect after treatment?

After treatment with PetArmor, fleas and ticks get very active as they die and move to the top of the pet's coat where they are more visible. This is a sign that the product is working. If you see fleas several days or weeks after applying PetArmor, you may have an infestation in your yard or elsewhere. Remember to treat all pets in your house with PetArmor every 30 days throughout the year to help protect your pets from fleas and ticks.

    Prevention is the best medicine

As with most things in life, prevention is much easier and less expensive than treating an existing problem. Even a few fleas can spread throughout your home and be difficult to overcome. Using PetArmor medication every 30 days will protect your pet.

I have a kitten I rescued from an old truck, a stray cat we had been feeding had a litter and left him behind being he was the runt. He has had fleas since we first got him but we gave him occasional baths to ease them off until he got old enough for the actual to handle actual medication. About two weeks after him being the appropriate age we bathed him thoroughly with harthz tick and flea shampoo, ran a flea comb through his coat since hes a long hair and put pet armor. To be honest I was not expecting such great results and had bought frontline just in case. But it was amzing, in addition to placing the medication on him we used big spots fogger to clear all the fleas and egg that may have remained, that also worked great. My kitten is now very plump and healthy at 5 months old and I would like to thank pet armor deeply for there product, it worls wonders. -L.G

I had used advantage for years, and it stopped working. I bought a new batch even ($60!!!) and after three treatments still saw fleas. We treated the house, the yard, and put the Pet Armor on our cat and it seems to have done the trick. This product took about four days to work completely, so be patient. It is not instant, and you do need to treat your home and yard as well if you have already seen fleas. Within 24 hours of treatment it may seem that you notice more fleas simply because they are moving to the surface of the cat's coat as they die.

This is the first time I had to by a flea med for my cats in 20 years, do to the fact I live in the desert and never had a flea problem, until now. I've always keep my cats in doors. As of 5 years ago my husband decided to let them out side and here we are now with fleas for the first time due to the unusual wet season this year. So what to use and how, was my next research project. I checked out all that was available online and with the pricing for 6 cats almost made me chock with fear on how I was going to afford this. Thank God for Wal-Mart, I found it and the star rating was good too, with the reviews, the pricing was what I call a bargain in a bundle. It has been a day and a half since I applied it on my babies and they did not get sick. We did notice it took longer than 12 hrs before the bugs started to leave our cats, (their leaving now) the cats have stopped scratching too. All that is left is the tic's to die,and to train my husband to keep the cats in side.

I first used PetArmor on my outdoor cats who were ate up with fleas. Even as kittens, they never stopped scratching and biting trying to get relief. They were born feral but I finally gained their confidence and was able to dose them with PetArmor. Within a couple of days 98% of the itching stopped. I think the other 2% is from grass. We're talking 3 feral cats that had a bad infestation and now infrequent scratching. I have an indoor cat who is allergic to fleas and gets a bad rash when she has even 1 flea. I always have to take her to the vet for a steroid shot and expensive flea killer. She was getting her rash again so I used PetArmor and her rash is going away. Saved me about $80 in vet bills. Also a plus, it doesn't leave the residue on the neck that other flea products do, so the other cats can't lick it off. With 5 cats I have to go for bargains, luckily this bargain is more than expected. Order this product through Walmart.com Pickup Today and they shop for you. Pick it up the same day.

I recently took in a new kitten who is about 9 wks old. She had fleas and worms and needed help. I decided to go ahead and take care of the fleas til i could get her to a vet the next day. I saw frontline plus online and figured they would have it in the store. Well they had it on the dog side but not the cat side! So it was either petarmor or advantix. I chose petarmor because it was cheaper and figured id order frontline for next time. I put the petarmor on her as soon as i got home that night and took her to the vet the next afternoon and she had no more fleas! The vet took a comb and combed out all the dead ones! He said it would kill her ear mites too so i wouldnt have to treat them separately! Petarmor literally worked in under 24 hrs. I couldnt believe my eyes from all the bad reviews on here. I decided to let you guys know that it worked for my kitty so you should at least give it a try. As far as it lasting, im not there yet since its only been a few days but my vet said its the exact same ingredient as frontline but without the other chemical that kills flea eggs. So this stuff really worked for me! Give it a try before you read all these negative reviews!

    • A. The way topic flea medication works is it sinks into their skin and is then excreted in their natural oils. Fleas die when they bite the skin. It usually stays in their system for about a month, up to about 6-8 weeks.

    • A. Yes this product does repel. Depending on your animal's fur or hair type, ticks and fleas will fall off shortly after making their way. It contains the same active and patented ingredient called Fipronil as does the vet distributed TopSpot and Frontline.

    • A. Unfortunately, due to a business-driven patent dispute we had to stop shipping PetArmor Plus to retailers in August 2011. Both products are equally effective at killing adult fleas and ticks because both contain fipronil, the No. 1 vet-recommended active ingredient. PetArmor does not contain an insect growth regulator that kills flea eggs and larvae. However, PetArmor still protects against a flea re-infestation because it will kill any adult fleas that hatch or hop onto your pet. As long as your pet is treated every month with a PetArmor product, the fleas will be killed.
