    Nice item

I ordered this online for in store pick up. However what was actually in the order was not the blue towers which I ordered but the castle had orange towers. They didn't have in stock or on the floor. Didn't like the color but for the price I said I would try it. Once I placed it in my 20 gal tank I was more than pleased. As you can see from the photo it was a perfect match.

    danger to fish

I had this in my fresh water tank for several days without a problem. Then the fish got used to it and started swimming in it. I had a Mickey platty get stuck in the up stairs door. I had to push him thru backwards to get him out. It cut him top and bottom. That same day, i had a catfish in it. It seemed odd, so I picked it up and the catfish was stuck in a cavern inside. His head was stuck. I Had to pull him out by the tail. Luckily both fish seem to be doing well. If you look on the inside of the castle. You'll see several lips fish can get stuck in.

It's nice till it eats your goldfish....

I bought this product for it's appearance and thought it would fit my idea of aquarium life. However, my shybukin (sp) goldfish disappeared. I literally thought I had looked everywhere for him and then realizing that either my other goldfish had eaten him or he had accidentally jumped out of my aquarium and one of my cats got him. Well he was gone for a week. I had nearly drained my aquarium looking for him and just came to the thought that he was gone for good. Then one evening while watching TV, there he was swimming with the other three. I have a 55 gallon aquarium with plenty of space and room. I am about to upgrade to a 125 gallon. When I removed the castle I noticed the rough hiding area near the top. I can't believe he survived but he did.

its beautiful and all but... there's ONE problem

I got this a while ago for my betta and he LOVES it! it just sucks that you cant pick the color you want if you order online but they are both beautiful so i cant complain that much. I put it in my 5 gallon tank and my betta seemed to take a loving to it. The only problem is that a few days later, I noticed that my betta's fins were badly torn. So, i cleaned the tank REALLY WELL, treated for fin rot and ich, and even checked the decorations. I found out that hes been tearing his fins on the SHARP edges on the INSIDE of the castle!! So if you are considering getting this, remember this. If you do get it, clean it REALLY well AND get rid of the sharp edges on the inside of it (the little cave area was the WOST)

    Nice
