Is this non-woven, NON-fusible interfacing?  Is it safe to stictch in between layers of cotton when making medical face masks?

Would this be a good material to use in homemade masks?

Pellon 830 is perfect for tracing patterns.  It can also be fed into a printer if using PDF pattern files.  The material feels like interfacing and is flexible if wanting to fit patterns before sewing.

Pellon 830 great for tracing patterns

I have used a lot of things to make patterns but this stuff is great.  Its cheap, strong, washable, and you can iron it and write on it.  I can stop using taped up newspaper now.

Great product

I love this tracing cloth because it is washable, ironable, and you can sew it.  It doesn't tear very easily and lasts for ever.

830 EASY PATTERN

This product is great. I have already ordered a second bolt. I always have to alter patterns to fit. This product makes it super easy to trace the original with a sharpie and alter as needed without destroying the original. It is heavy enough to be stable but translucent enough to easily trace through. Highly recommend.

Great for Making or Altering a Pattern

It's great for tracing patterns! Sturdy, it won't tear or rip if you pull on it. Unfolded, it is long enough to cover any pattern piece I've come across in my current project (Simplicity S8845 denim jacket in XL). I like that I can make a set of reusable pattern pieces, and also be able to reuse my actual pattern to make different sizes. This is much better than what I was using (some paper I salvaged from some packaging). It's worth it to buy the 10 yard roll... I was glad I did once I got started and realized my pattern had 20 freaking pieces. I believe I'll be able to stitch/pin it together to check sizing without issue. 

Also, as much as I dislike supporting huge corporations, this was the best price I could find for it. On Amazon there were a few reviews talking about receiving dirty/ant-ridden orders and I decided I'd better look elsewhere. I had a coupon at Joann's and got excited and placed my order - and then cancelled because I realized even with the coupon, I'd be paying the same price there for 7 yards as I would here for 10 (with store pick up... Joann's only gave me the option of by the yd for store pick-up or to pay for shipping for the 10 yd roll).  

Anyway, in the end, it was worth it to me. I can't really think of any cons. I haven't tried ironing it, so I don't know  how it holds up to heat (I'm assuming fine) but I've just been pulling/taping it tight across my patterns to take out any folds.

Sew great!

Works well for copying and drawing patterns.  Easy to write on with a pencil or pen.   Ink from ballpoint pen doesn't bleed through like it does with thin, dotted tracing paper.  I like it because it is much wider than Swedish tracing paper.

Pattern tracing paper

This makes for a much sturdier pattern when you need to make adjustments and alterations, or to combine sizes of a commercial paper pattern.  Only used it once so far, but am pleased with results.  Doesn't tear  easily like tissue paper; but on other hand, it doesn't fold up as compactly  (takes up a little more space)

Great for tracing out patterns for projects and you can also sew on it to try it on in case you need to make any adjustments before making the final piece. It was a good price for the bolt when I purchased it.

Great for making pattern drafts

i love this for tracing over patterns with mutiple sizing to make the size i want. So much more durable than tissue paper patterns

2nd Time I've Ordered This

Be careful ordering this item.  It says 45"x20 yards. What you really get is 45"x10yards.  That is $2.76 per yard( fair price) but not the great buy it seems. Knowing this I would not have order a whole bolts at one time. good material, fair price per yard,but not a bargain. MISLEADING. INFO ON ITEM PAGE.
