Excellent Tool For Training

I train my dogs daily. This has been helpful with my small breed dog. I use vibrate and tone options exclusively and have seen a big improvement in her behavior and listening. I like the remove has a lock function, multi level stim option, and fits in the hand nicely for long training sessions. Comes with charging brick and cord which splits to charge collar and remote at the same time.

Great Dog Training Collar

This is not only a Dog Training Collar - but a "Kit". Included is everything that you will need to get yourself and your dog set up for usage of the collar and the training guidelines. The collar is rechargeable; which is nice - you do not have to keep replacing batteries. The collar itself is made of a sturdy rubber / silicone like material, and appears to be very comfortable on our dog. The remote controller is very easy to see and to operate. The instructions and recommendations on usage are very easy to understand. If used correctly, and according to the guidelines, this collar is a great addition to your other training methods. It uses (what I would call) "Negative Reinforcement"... in other words; the dog gets a little buzz (or shock) from the collar when they are doing something wrong. You consistently train them; along with saying "no", when you give them the buzz, and they quickly realize that they shouldn't be doing "wrong" or they will get the buzz again. The buzz (or shock) is very light. I don't believe it to hurt the animal at all; in fact, its not as harsh as using a swift pat on the behind. I would recommend this product to those who need some help with training. Remember, training is a two way street - you have to work along with your animal to have this work. It's a "training device" - it's not a babysitter! I do recommend, provided you are willing to put in the time necessary.

Great Humane Training Collar!!

Very easy to put together and the instruction manual is very easy to follow. The collar has a lot of holes to fit any size neck and it has short and long prongs for short hair or long hair dogs. I have a 20 pound Cocker Spaniel that has short to med length hair depending on her haircut and I got this because she barks at everything, I use the beep function first as a warning and that's usually enough but sometimes I have to use the vibrate function and that stopped it immediately!! I haven't tried the shock function and I don't think I will so I don't know how it works. The collar has also helped on walking her without a leash, if she starts to stray away, I just give a warning beep and she stops to wait for me or she comes back to me, it even stopped her going after squirrels and other dogs and now all it takes is a beep once in a while! It is a great training tool and now I have a well behaved dog!! Plus you can't beat the price!!
