My daughter bought this pot for me for Christmas. I opened it and it had a huge chip out of the outside of the pot which we assumed happened in shipping since she bought it on line. She returned it and got another one to replace the first one. Once I took the plastic ring off to open the lid, the inside of the lid and the bottom of the pot has odd shaped chips out of it of the clear coating. It also on the sides shows black places where the white coating didn't completely cover so now I have a second defective one. I wrote to customer service on the Paula Deen site and never heard anything from them. I have the complete pots and pans set and I just hope I don't have problems with those also. I am going to try and call the company because I don't know if I can get a replacement one again. Wish I wouldn't have bought any of the pots and pans to start with.

I bought this stock pot December 13, 2012 It was nice looking and it said broiler safe and non stick surface. I brought it home and washed it and noticed fine hairline cracks in the bottom of the pan but did not think it was an issue, so I filled it with water and put the burner on low and then turned the heat to medium so I could get a boil for pasta, and when I poured out the pasta the bottom of the pan was all cracked. I brought it back to the store and got a refund. I wish I would have taken the time to read the comments on here before I bought this pan, I ended up buying the t=fal non stick 12 quart stock pot and what a nice pan, I looked at the reviews for the t-fal and they were all 100 percent sastisfied. Don't waste your time buying Paula deans pot with the enamal finish you will just have to go right back to the store, and if you lose your receipt you are stuck with store credit. So hold onto your receipts.

I purchased this stock pot and from the fist time using it I've been unhappy with it. Everything I cook sticks to the bottom and that's on low heat. By far this is the worst pot ever....should have gotten the cheaper pot.

My grandmother bought me this pot for Christmas and I was very excited because I make lots of soups. I made a $60 pot of Shrimp and Crawfish Creole in it for it's first use. It simmered on low for a couple of hours. When my husband stirred it, the ceramic coating on the bottom came off and broke all in the pot of creole. Needless to say...I will not buy another Paula Deen product!

I bought this stock pot in November and it really is a great product. I have used it twice so far for family dinners and I love it. It seems to be very durable and I get tons of compliments on it. Great buy!

I bought this after also buying several of the PD mixing bowls months ago, which I love by the way, and the enamel on the bottom chipped after the first use! I followed all the "instructions" on how to properly use the pot and never turned it above a low simmer when I made a large batch of crab soup. When I went to empty the pot I noticed there was not only a lot of burn-on covering the bottom, but also a 1/4" x 3/4" piece of enamel missing from the bottom. Luckily I found the chip still laying next to the area and it was still in one piece. So I at least didn't have to toss an entire $86 batch of soup in the garbage along with this $34 piece of junk. I had high hopes for this line of cookware, but sadly I've had cheaper pots last longer than this!

The pot is beautiful however it's too thin on the bottom surface which causes food to burn much too quickly. $30 is too much for this to happen. Love Paula Deen but not happy w/ my pot. It's going in the trash!

When used on low or even high heat the enamel on the inside bottom cracked. And now the pot needs to be thrown out cause the enamel has cracked so much its unuseable. I wasted $30.00 for to throw it away. Don't waste your money on this item.
