Use this product now in place of my prescription which is the same, but 30 day prescription cost me $31 for 30 day supply using Good RX. I can buy 2 bottles of Pataday for way less. My eye Dr recommended this in place of RX. It is just the same and I have no complaints paying a lot less. It works well on my eye allergy. Buy the 2 bottle box, big savings.
About This Item
Itchy Eyes? Meet the Invisible Enemies.
Did you know there are thousands of allergens in every cubic yard of air? Pollen, ragweed, and grass are the triggers we might think of first. But you donât have to set foot outdoors to have your day ruined by itchy allergy eyes. Pet dander and animal hair are among the most common indoor allergens. Thatâs why thereâs Pataday. Pataday is made to relieve the itch caused by these everyday culpritsâboth indoor and out.
Prescription strength Pataday features the ingredient doctors prescribe most for itchy allergy eyes. And now, no prescription is needed. How does Pataday work? Pataday works two ways. It goes to work on mast cells in the eye. (Mast cells house the histamines that make your eyes itch.) Pataday stabilizes the mast cells, preventing them from releasing histamines. Pataday also blocks histamines that have already been released from attaching to the histamine (H1) receptors in the eye, breaking the chain of allergic reaction. Less histamines means less allergy eye itch!
Pataday is the first once daily eye allergy itch relief drop thatâs available without a prescription. A single drop of Pataday Once Daily Relief works directly on the cells that make your eyes itch. Itâs fast relief that lasts all day.

Pataday Works Great
As an old geezer past 70 years old I need all the edge I can get. Pataday stopped my "teary eye" problem in just 4 days. A good product that gives results.
Pataday at 1/10 the price of an Rx!
I've been using Pataday Rx for my seasonal allergies for about 10 years, but the Rx's were always expensive, like $150/bottle, and I'd usually go through 2 bottles a year ($300) (they each last about a month). Imagine my surprise when upon calling my eye Dr. for an Rx refill, he told me the drug had just (Feb 2020) been made generic! Difficult to find, but Walmart did have a 2 pack for under $30 - about 1/10 the price of the Rx!
Helps my itchy eyes
Used this for itchy allergy eyes when it was by prescription so buying OTC was a natural choice! Works well for me!
Happy it is now OTC
I used Pataday when it was a prescription. It works great, but it was very expensive and not covered by my insurance. As soon as I saw it OTC I had to get it. I highly recommend for seasonal allerdies that cause itchy or burning eyes.
