i have been buying this brand of diapers for my son since he was a newborn, he is now 8 months old. we have never had any problems with these diapers . However, i bought a box of diapers on Friday and the box says it has a wetness indicator , usually this is characterized by a yellow line running down the center of the diaper that then turns blue when baby is wet but upon opening the box I purchased this week not a single diaper in the box has a wetness indicator. this is not a huge deal but it is one of the features that made me choose this brand in comparison, I was getting the same features as the more expensive brands at a value price. this is not a huge problem for me but it might be for someone else and there is no way to know until you open them because the box says it has an indicator but the diapers inside do not. so if a wetness indicator is important to you and cost is not a factor then you may want to spend the extra few dollars for one of the more expensive brands. overall this is a good brand and I will continue to use unless this happens again then I may switch brands until the problem is resolved. I have included pictures of the box as well as a comparison photo of a diaper with the indicator and these without .

You definitely get a better deal buying this brand because you pay less for more. Both of my children used/use parents choice. The have never had a diaper rash and I have no little accidents as I used too with other diaper brands. Parents choice is cheap, convenient and definitely loved by my family and friends. I would recommend it specially if you have more than 1 baby/toddler in your household and are looking to save a few bucks without having to put their little butts in the line.

I recently had to switch to these diapers because my husband and I were paying $100 a month to diaper our 1 and 2 year old. Our 2 year old has sensitive skin, so we were buying Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive. Our 1 year old wears a size 4 too, so both of our girls were wearing this diaper. We couldn't keep buying the Pampers because it is so expensive. I felt like a bad mom because it took us 2 years to find the right diapers for my daughter. I've tried every diaper out there including Parent's Choice. I never had a problem with Parent's Choice, but I didn't like the feel of them and I felt like maybe my kids would be uncomfortable in them. My kids don't seem to feel uncomfortable in the Parent's Choice diapers. These diapers are 16 cents a piece and I was paying 37 cents a piece per diaper with Pampers. Pampers are softer, but they're more expensive. So far my daughter hasn't gotten a diaper rash with these diapers. I will now only be spending $40 a month to diaper my kids and that's a bargain! With two kids in diapers I couldn't afford the $100 a month anymore. My family is going to save $60 monthly now and $720 annually now. If I would have stuck with Pampers I would have spent $1200 this year in diapers. We just can't afford that with our low income military family. I love other items Parent's Choice sells as well as their overnight diapers, which I am a huge fan of! If these regular Parent's Choice diapers don't work then we will just switch to the overnights which are still pretty cheap! So far with the daytime diapers we haven't had any leaks or blowouts.

I have four children and have used these diapers for the past 10 years! I loved them. Walmart has two different companies that supply the parents choice diapers. One make the purple/green diaper and the other makes the yellow/orange diaper. The yellow/orange diapers used to be what I could only get online, in my area, but now they are the only ones in the store. They are not as good at all! They leak, don't fit as well and are a waste of money. I hope they decide to go back to the purple/green diaper maker!! These are the best!!! Just in this past month I am unable to find the purple green diaper at any Walmart in my area, I have been searching for a similar one, as I am not paying double the money for a name brand, Safeway has the mom to mom brand which seems to be the same diaper as the purple/green one from Walmart, and they are about the same cost! I am so excited to have a diaper that is a good cost and works well! So until Walmart goes back to the best diaper, I will be purchasing them at Safeway!!

I have been using Parent's Choice brand for about a year. I refuse to pay high prices for diapers so I decided to give this brand a try. I loved them. They were great. Coverage, thickness, texture etc,. They were white with like a little bear or something on the front. Recently I went to buy more and realized the pattern changed. I thought OH cool, I liked the little jungle print. Not until I started using them. They are thinner, don't cover as well and every morning when he wakes his pj's are soaked. I don't have a lot of time in the mornings so having to undress him, get him cleaned up and redressed takes up time. I have bragged about the diapers to many of my friends about how much I love the brand and you can really save using them. I am very disappointed in the change and definitely think it should go back to the plain white diapers with the little bear.

A friend recommended this brand when I told her I was having some economical troubles and my newborn baby was in need of diapers. She said they were not only economic, but they were also good quality. Well, maybe when her daughter was in diapers because that is no longer the case. My son can never seem to stay dry. I am having to change his outfit with each diaper change. They also feel very rough and seem too small. And the worst part is that since they were recommended and I was told they were a good choice, I threw away the receipt and filled the diaper stacker with them. I am very disappointed and upset. I only bought them because I needed to save money, but now I wish I would have just spend the extra money on Pampers. If I was struggling economically then, it seems worst now. I wasted money on this horrible diapers and now I have to spend more buying GOOD quality diapers. I AM DOUBLE SPENDING!! Hope Walmart can do something about this issues.

    The new diapers are different

    Customer review by GregandLupe

It is obvious that Parent's Choice changed their supplier. I've used these diapers for 3 years now and have never had a problem. I opened my new box and noticed that the diapers felt different, but didn't really think much about it. After about a week of using them, I noticed that my child was leaking every single time after about 2 hours. I compared the diapers to some I had bought previously and they are very different in texture, size, and color. The new size two are significantly smaller that the old size two. What is even more frustrating is that I have already been using them before I noticed the difference. I bought two boxes and have already split the diapers between rooms, diaper bags, cars, and daycare. I won't be able to return them. I would like it if Wal-Mart would send me two boxes of equal size from Huggies or Pamapers to make up for the money I have wasted. Not only are the diapers no go, now I have to wash a load of clothes everyday as my child goes through an outfit with every diaper change. THIS PRODUCT USED TO BE GOOD BUT IS NOW TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

I have been using Parents Choice diapers every single day for the last 6 years (I have multiple children). I have always been very happy with this product until my most recent purchase. They seem to fit smaller now, they feel cheaper and more papery, and they sag like nobody's business the second my child pees. I am extremely disappointed as this is a product I have always depended on and have recommended to other parents many times in the past. Reading the reviews here, it appears other parents are not impressed with these changes either. I genuinely hope that Parents Choice will take this feedback and return to manufacturing the quality product I have enjoyed using for the last 6 years.

The older diapers with the plain hear design were amazing. I absolutely loved them. They worked better for my don than Huggies did and never had a leak issue with them. The new diapers have several changes to them, including the outer print design and they are: 1) the print design 2) the sizes are smaller than they used to be (i.e., a size 5 now fits like a size 4, and I actually compared them to diapers I had left over from the ones before the change) 3) the new diapers leak 4) the new diapers are very cheaply made Very unfortunate to have to change diaper brands as there was nothing used to be nothing wrong with the old diapers. I definitely do not recommend the new ones.

When my daughter was born all I bought for 6 months were pampers and occasionally huggies which I prefer the pampers brand over the 2, but at 6 months I was in Walmart and seen these for $6 a pack so I figured I'd buy those and give them a try compared to the huge box of pampers I was getting every month for about $25 and I still needed a pack of diapers some months. Well I tried them worried about rashes but never had a single issue. These work so great, rarely have leaks, I actually found these to be more absorbent then both pampers and huggies from my experience. They never gave my daughter any rashes. The only thing id change is a little bit more snugness in the back cuz when it's a blow out diaper it comes up the back more often then I'd like but really that's only when it's extremely watery if she's sick or something. Like 1-2 times a month but nothing that really has turned me away from these. Never a leak from moisture though like I had with luvs and huggies, pampers I never really had an issue with leaks but I like the price of these better!

    • A. Yes, they do! I don't know what these other people are talking about. When I used the newborn through size 2 (Dec. 2012-mid summer 2013) there were bears that disappeared when wet. Now the size 3's (which previously had nothing) just came out with a yellow wetness indicator like pampers. I am guessing that the smaller sizes were updated as well.

    • A. David I am no expert but I can guide you as far as I know how to. When you go to the website at www.walmart.com there is a search bar. Put the item you are looking for, in this case "parents choice diapers value pack" when you see the item you are looking for click on it. The page will take you to that specific item giving you the choice to click on the diaper size(s) you need. On the "Select Options" it gives you a box with the size of the diaper, the amounts of diapers it brings and the price per diaper. If you would like to know the price per box then click on that size and it will reload the page to the accurate information or pricing. I looked it up for you Size 2 brings 160 diapers per box. Thank you and I hope you found the answer you were looking for.
