Don't know the secret....have had many naysayers about "oh you can't get cheap diapers" or "they'll leak" or "the tabs will rip off" - my son has been in them since newborn and no problems.....I've had 1 tab pull off so far, and that's only because the sticky tab got stuck to the tab on the "new" diaper as I was sliding it under him.......operator error ;) And he's been putting the 12 hour leak protection to the TEST.....since two weeks....he's been sleeping through the nights.....lol...and sometimes he wets so much, he actually washed away the blue wetness indicator haha

Don't buy name brand. These are good diapers. Made in America. Like them very much.

    • A. It depends on how fast your little one grows. We were in newborns for a few weeks and then went to the next size.

    • A. When your baby is about 10-12 pounds you will need size one. If you have a baby with very large legs around the tops, you may need size one before they reach 10 pounds so the leg holes don't dig into their skin. :)

    • A. Hi Violet, This really depends on the child's size and leg size. I had an 8lb and a 9lb baby. They both stayed in newborn sizes for roughly a month.
