I recently had to switch to these diapers because my husband and I were paying $100 a month to diaper our 1 and 2 year old. Our 2 year old has sensitive skin, so we were buying Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive. Our 1 year old wears a size 4 too, so both of our girls were wearing this diaper. We couldn't keep buying the Pampers because it is so expensive. I felt like a bad mom because it took us 2 years to find the right diapers for my daughter. I've tried every diaper out there including Parent's Choice. I never had a problem with Parent's Choice, but I didn't like the feel of them and I felt like maybe my kids would be uncomfortable in them. My kids don't seem to feel uncomfortable in the Parent's Choice diapers. These diapers are 16 cents a piece and I was paying 37 cents a piece per diaper with Pampers. Pampers are softer, but they're more expensive. So far my daughter hasn't gotten a diaper rash with these diapers. I will now only be spending $40 a month to diaper my kids and that's a bargain! With two kids in diapers I couldn't afford the $100 a month anymore. My family is going to save $60 monthly now and $720 annually now. If I would have stuck with Pampers I would have spent $1200 this year in diapers. We just can't afford that with our low income military family. I love other items Parent's Choice sells as well as their overnight diapers, which I am a huge fan of! If these regular Parent's Choice diapers don't work then we will just switch to the overnights which are still pretty cheap! So far with the daytime diapers we haven't had any leaks or blowouts.

Big Mistake!
I have no problem using cheaper stuff on our children. I thought with the line that tells you they are wet that maybe these will be like the pampers he has used since birth. We tried luvs and they do not hold the wetness. These are worse than luvs. When we change his diaper his skin is soaking wet. The diaper leaks from the top in the front and back. No, we do not leave our baby in wet diapers for hours. After he potties, we change him. The pampers kept the wetness off of his skin. They also did not leak. These wet his clothes every time he peed. We gave the rest of them away to someone about to have a baby. Your little person deserves a diaper that will not give them a rash by keeping them wet. Don't waste your money! Our son is 3 months old.

Comparable to up & up

I'm confused about all of the poor reviews. The new design is nearly identical to the newest up&up diapers. Features that are identical: Same tabs Same adherent strip in front Same elastic in the back Same wetness indicator Same size For the most part feel the same except that the up&up are very slightly softer on the outside. I have experienced pee leaks in up & up but not in Parents choice, and no blowouts in either. My baby drinks an 8 ounce bottle before bed and sleeps 12 hours and these hold up!

Poor quality

I have bought these since my daughter was an infant, they worked nicely up until recently. My baby is now seven months old, so she likes to grab at things. If she's in just a diaper because of the heat, and she grabs at them, they start fraying leaving handfuls of a silky substance in her hands! Thankfully my husband and I always catch this! This is my third child and know diapers should NOT be doing this!! Just beware of this issue, will be switching!!

Disintegrating diapers

I'm extremely disappointed in these diapers! My seven month old has used these since birth! She is my third child and we're looking to save money. The diapers are disintegrating on the outside of the diaper just from simple rubbing and if she plays with them at all before we get her dressed, she will have a silky substance in her hands just from playing with the diaper a little bit! Unsafe!!! Either pay a little extra for a different diaper or go buy another off-brand somewhere else

size 7 is now same as size 6!

I love these diapers, but am so bummed that the size 7 is suddenly smaller. They had already made the very generous waist smaller several years ago, now the entire diaper is tiny. Frustrating because there are not many choices in size 7's.

Worst diapers ever

These are by far the worst diapers! The diaper was only on my son for an hour and a half and his clothes were soaked. I thought maybe my husband forgot to make sure he was pointing down, but the next time I changed him and an hour later his clothes were soaked again. Only buy if you like to change your baby's clothes several times a day.

TOO SMALL

I am not a new parent trying to navigate the diaper isle! Trying to save a little money where I can and was out of diapers and happened to be at Walmart, thought I would give them a try. MISTAKE ! The photo are both "generic" brand diapers. BOTH ARE SIZE 6 ~ yes, really. I even went back to the Parents Choice box to make sure I didn't accidentally grab the wrong size, NOPE. So I check the little number on the diaper themselves to make sure they were packaged correctly, all said 6! Parent's Choice diapers appeared smaller, the lining was very thin, and the over all surface area that covers the bottom is smaller therefore giving a much to much small fit for a SIZE 6. NONE of the various brans I have tried have been this ... tiny. INSANE! Then, not 2 days of wearing them, now my child has a rash on his skin in various places the diaper touches. I HOPE Walmart has a satisfaction guarantee for Parent Choice items! I will NEVER buy that brand (of anything) again!

Hate them! 😭

We used to buy Huggies or Pampers , but we tryed the wet wipes and they were awesome so we decide to try this diapers , they are cheap really cheap but they are a holy crap they are small comparing with pampers sizes , they are huge but inabsorbets and they really looks that are made from cheap materials , and my baby have a rash so never in life going to use them again 😕

1. Hey Violet, I usually go by the babies weight, and compare it to the weight on the package.
by LocalOnlineMommyShopper
2. 10 lbs
by SandyTurtle7
3. it all depends on how much your little one weighs and how they fit.
by benson64
4. Just buy the size 1 diapers. Babies grow out of them so quickly, so don't invest in them. The weight difference is so negligible between the newborn and size 1. If you are buying in advance, I would stock up on one medium size pack of size 1, a couple packs of size 2, and a couple of size 3 to start. Then buy accordingly depending on how your little one grows in the coming months! :)
by Erin
5. When your baby is about 10-12 pounds you will need size one. If you have a baby with very large legs around the tops, you may need size one before they reach 10 pounds so the leg holes don't dig into their skin. :)
by SarahRock
6. It all depends on what size your newborn is when he/she comes out and how quickly he/she grows. There is no way to know.
by OLMama
7. wouldn't get many newborn, the average baby is 7-8lbs at birth
by An anonymous customer
8. It depends on how fast your little one grows. We were in newborns for a few weeks and then went to the next size.
by BudgetHunter
9. We recommend that you consult the diaper chart that's on the Parent Choice Diaper Newborn packaging to determine when you should go a size up.
by RQuinones
10. My chubby baby never used nb size. He was nine pounds so I guess babies can use nb until they reach approx 9 pounds.
by Myya
11. Depends on weight When the newborn reaches 10 pounds I believe .
by Dadchiku
12. Hi Violet, This really depends on the child's size and leg size. I had an 8lb and a 9lb baby. They both stayed in newborn sizes for roughly a month.
