Adorable and great game, great Christmas gift!
Also glad that the delivery was at the door and picture taken as evidence!
Now my second order says delivered but It wasn't delivered by Walmart and the post office is horribe! They should have put both items in the same package!

My wive loves the retro references and the style closer to the original Paper Mario.  She loves the exploration.  The battles are very different and you have to match up patterns and create an attack path.  This frustrated her to death at first, not being math or process oriented but she is picking it up and is starting to like the battles more.  
We are not done yet but so far it is great!  It can be frustrating when the attacks leave you with little or no complete attack options.  But I enjoy the patterns and planning out Mario's path for the attack.
We recommend it for families of all ages.
The trick is to read the scroll out load.  To hear the way they say things that way is great!  But it is very much cut scenes and scrolls like the original.

Love it, back closer to the original but new twist

My 10 year old son LOVES Mario. He has to have every Mario game that comes out. When this was released, we ordered it immediately. It was delievered in 2 days. The game was fun yet challenging. Perfect for the little gamer in your life. We are very happy with our purchase. Thanks!

We Love Mario!!!

I had tried to preorder this particular game from a certain video game retailer but they were trying to pay an extra $10 to get it in on release. So ichecked my options and instead preordered it on walmart and had it shipped to my home arriving on release date with no extra cost. The game itself is great. Ihad the original n64 one and it feels like they captured the same feel to it. Some of the battles are kind of challenging so i do believe they were aiming for an older demographic. But that don't bother me none.

Maybe better than Gamestop

Its a very charming and fun paper Mario game! Improves on the previous two paper Mario games, but still lacks a true RPG leveling system. The story is a little left to be desired but it makes up for it with the overwhelming attention to charm in the dialogue, characters and each area design. The gameplay is puzzle based battles, lining enemies up to get a damage bonus. Fun for a while, but random enemies start to be annoying. I did enjoy the boss battles though! The world and levels are stunning and finding toads is lots of fun! In summary: don't expect to play an RPG Paper Mario, but the fun is in the worlds you explore and the character dialogue and world building!

Charming and Fun game, but not an RPG Paper Mario

Bought item expecting the US. Version got the foreign version. Picture was misleading.

Disappointed

Do not buy this.  I purchased and it didn't send the code.  Now they are making me call different call centers that hang up on me so they can keep the money.

Per the customer support agent, it actually takes 48 hours for the distributor to send a code which then is sent via email to the customer. Please explain, Walmart, why the listing and the order confirmation say delivery on the same day, and yet for a digital product, which isn't being shipped anywhere, I have to wait two days to receive. Oh I can't cancel my order either. I can literally go to Nintendo l's website and get it within 5 minutes. Why would anyone want to deal with this nonsense?
