I bought this as a second unit. I already have 1 and loved it. Its easy to use and free standing. I like the fact that is powered by a wall outlet rather than a usb. This 1 came with a headset charger as well, so no wires are needed at all.

Does what it's supposed to do
It does what it is supposed to do. It charges your controllers. When charging, it lights up red, when charged it changes to green. It's pretty bright, so I wouldn't keep it in your bedroom. Pretty small footprint, about the size of a DVD case and about 6 inches tall. Be aware that this does not have a USB port for other items, it is only for the two controllers, unlike the product photo. Not sure if it applies to other markets, but for me, It was cheaper to order it online than to buy it in the store, by a lot. I recommend this to anyone. It's nice to not have to be wired to the system while playing to charge the controllers.
Perfect for a busy gamer.
This is the perfect accessory to anyone that has found the trouble of having to charge the controller but want to be farther away from the Play Station. With two controllers, once the battery dies in one, grab the second controller and there you go!
The product is great; however, the one I received from my online order was a return and it did not work. I had to take it back and exchange it at the store. Kind of defeated the purpose.
I have owned this product for a year or so but decided to purchase one for a friend as a Christmas gift. What a great little product. Not only can you charge 2 PS3 controllers without having your PS3 powered on but, it also comes with 2 additional standard USB ports for charging other things. A great feature that this charger provides is that you don't have to guess when your controllers are charged as the 2 controller 'bays' light up red when charging or green when fully charged.
Very good charger
Red = charging Green = charged Charges 4 controllers at a time Only 1 con and that it sometimes assumes controller 1 on the ps3 which I would have to manually change to play a game. Don't let that make you look elsewhere for a charger because it's simple to fix.
Good charging station. But the picture is showing was different from the actual item. Der is no extra usb port on the side
Really nice and sleek looking, thought there was a USB charger on the side, but was disappointed to find there was none. Great otherwise.
2 controllers fit snugly into the holders to charge. It will not fit if you have any sort of controller glove that covers the area around the charging port though. It comes with the cable to plug into the machine and has 2 USB ports on the site for extra controller charging, or connecting to another charging station.
I bought this product in my local Walmart store after looking at it on Walmart.com. I've only had it a few days, but it seems to charge my controllers and headset just fine, but you do have to make sure the controllers are plugged in good for them to charge (takes a little wiggling). So far, the only thing I have a problem with is that Walmart.com lists the charger as having two USB ports on the side and the charger that I bought at the store only has one USB port and comes with an out-dated headset dock that will not work with the newest version of the official PS3 bluetooth headset, but I just use the dock and cord that came with my headset and plug it into the USB port. All in all, I am satisfied with the charger since I only have two controllers and a headset and it will charge all three, but you can not charge up to four controllers as the website description states. Oh yeah, I thought maybe the part numbers from the website and the store could have been different, but they are the same. Hope this helps.
