The Paw Patrol Chase HD WIFI camera has a lot of good things going for it. Number one is the cost for what you get. I have security cameras that cost 4 times what this camera costs and some functions of this Paw Patrol camera are superior to them. To operate this camera you must install an app to your smart phone. It is very easy using the QR code in the instruction manual. After downloading the app it walks you through setup and connects to your home WIFI. From your smart phone you control the camera and all of its settings. In addition you can download a program to your PC or tablet (Apple operating system not supported) that allows you to view live, record live or take a current picture with this camera. Features include: 1080P HD picture, IR night vision, 120 degree wide angle view, single or 2 way audio, motion detection with alarm and text message notifications. You can save videos and pictures to your cloud account with a micro SD card. If you do not want to save any recordings and just watch live view you do not need an SD card. The alarm is a LOUD police siren that comes directly from the unit itself. This loud alarm is great for any grandparent like me for when the grandkids are visiting. I close off the back bedroom where they are not supposed to be and if one of them opens the door to that room the alarm sounds. This camera works for monitoring a baby's room, a child's play room, the outside door to the swimming pool or just keeping tabs on the nanny. When the grandkids are not visiting I have this camera set up in the vestibule focused on the front door. If any intruder comes in the alarm sounds and gives me those precious seconds to re-act. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the instruction manual could be better. I have used this camera for 3 weeks and I am still learning what it can do by trial and error. Every time I find a new feature I am delighted and wish that it would have been explained in the instructions.

This is the cutest PAW Patrol Camera I have ever seen! It’s very colorful and stand at least 6.5 inches tall. The downloadable app was very easy to install on my cellphone, and the setup was very easy. When you are setting up the PAW Patrol make sure that the ethernet cord is connected into your WIFI Router, and not your computer so you will be able to add your camera to your WIFI Settings and complete your connections.

What’s so amazing about this WIFI camera is that it zooms in on my entire den area picking up on every detailed movement and observation. The HD Camera is surely amazing! It highlights the actual settings of my den area. I can do all kinds of features such as record, take and save pictures and do screen shots. I would also suggest that the PAW Patrol be set on a stable flat surface for security purposes, prevent from falling and tilting over.

There is nothing that I dislike about the PAW Patrol HD WIFI Camera. It’s so cute, so adorable, so friendly and is a remarkable, WIFI Camera!

This camera is really cute and kid friendly . It has a lot of useful features including: 1080P HD, Night Vision, Wide Angle View, a user friendly App, Connects to the Cloud, alarm and push notifications, and motion detection. It looks like a little paw patrol toy and other than it talking back to you if it disconnects or an error message it is a great discreet way to monitor a babysitter or a nanny. The set up was a little confusing but once I got it working it works really well. It also can work at night which is helpful if you want to monitor a sleeping baby.

I got this camera as part of the Spark Review program, because some of my neighbors complained about maintenance people from the apartment complex. Apparently they were entering apartments without notice or permission, and I wanted an affordable surveillance camera.

The camera comes with everything you need for basic setup, and good instructions. I added a micro SD card. The unit will walk you through the steps. When it is setting up, it's quite loud, but setup took only a few minutes. I really like that the night vision was very good. A couple of roommates agreed to help with the demonstration. I took two screenshots, and couldn't tell the difference between snapshots of regular lighting and night vision. The only odd thing was sometimes the picture was in color, and sometimes black and white. It was very clear, which is all that mattered. We were all able to access the camera with our phones, and were glad to see nobody entered our apartment but us. It really gives us peace of mind, because we do have company over often, and some friends bring their kids here.

I gave it four stars because we had to start over several times during setup. Apparently, if you make a sound during setup, it derails the process and you have to start over.

Review of PAW PATROL HD WIFI CAMERA with night vision:

I recently received the PAWPATROL HD WIFI CAMERA WITH NIGHT VISION through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. The camera I received is a cute little character named “Chase.” Some of its features include “1080P HD, Night Vision, 120 degree Wide Angle View, Communications with your home, Motion Detection and taking HD Photos and Videos.”

After unpacking and making sure the shipment was complete I began setting up the device. I ran into problems with the Wi-Fi connection through my phone so I called in the reinforcements, usually one of my granddaughters. She found the camera simple to set up once she was able to get the app to work. Initially she used my phone, started from scratch and created an account. For some reason the camera would not accept the Wi-Fi password on this phone or account. A message appeared saying it could not accept symbols being used in the password. We tried on another phone, created another account, and it was able to connect with no problems. Using the new account, we were able to log in using the original phone as well. I am unsure why it would not accept the password on the initial account, but had no issues on the second one we tried. We did nothing different. So, while I think the camera is easy to set up, there may be some technological issues to work through.

Once the camera and app set up was completed, the quality of the video turned out to excellent. The communication audio feature from the camera to the phone is clear but audio from my phone to the camera is hard to understand. In summary, the “PAW PATROL” camera, once operational, will provide high quality monitoring in and around the home.

The Paw Patrol HD Wi-Fi Camera does have a decent picture at 1080p. The sound is also good and the camera does have a speaker so you can talk back thru the unit. It does have to be plugged in to an outlet for power. The unit will also connect to the internet thru your home Wi-Fi, if you allow the connection, for saving video to the cloud for later viewing. The instructions do give instructions for both Android and I-Phone instructions. It is also capable of connecting to your home computer.

The camera connects easily to your phone using the Ematic app that you can download by scanning the QR code on the instructions. Although our phones alerted us that the program was spyware. The camera does have a QR code on the bottom to make connecting it to your phone very easy. Using the program is easy and has controls for switching from normal to HD viewing. You can also zoom in to any area of the video if needed. The program also has an icon that when held allows you to talk thru the integrated speaker. The infra-red (night vision) shows in black and white but is a good picture and would be useful.

The camera has a 120-degree field of view and can be set up for either continuous video or motion detection only. The app can also be set up to alert you when motion is detected and allow you view live video, if you have it connected to your home W-Fi. It can also save the video to the cloud so you can access it from anywhere. It stands about six inches and about three inches at the base.

Overall this is a good camera for the price with many nice features for anyone that would like to have surveillance of one area like a baby or child’s room.

Its definitely cute and makes a great addition to a child's room or any area you may want to monitor. We use it to watch our pets.

The pixel count is low and the intercom feature does not work well..

Well I really wanted to like this Paw Patrol Chase 1080p Wi-Fi security camera with two-way audio and night vision but I can't even get it to work so I'm going to have to write a terrible review. I have a 4 year old boy who is super into Paw Patrol and I thought this would be cool to have in the house for him to look at as well as giving me a little security especially if we leave him with a babysitter or something like that. After opening up I followed the instructions with which were pretty simple up to a point. First all you had to do is plug it in and wait for it to say a few words then you're supposed to upload the app and that's where I fall into a brick wall. I went to my App Store and search for the Ematic camera app however the only thing I could find was the Ematic smart home app. I downloaded it since it had the same symbol thinking that maybe they combined their apps however I couldn't find anywhere on the Ematic smart home app to install a camera. I even downloaded a scanner to scan the code but it took me to a website that was unavailable. I ended up emailing the company from the instructions in the box of the chase camera and are waiting for their reply. I've set up cameras like this before on this is too much of a hassle for me even to deal with. Pretty disappointing.

This item sucks don't buy it. They selling this without having actual app to contact the camera too waste of money
