Not worth it ...

In a word ... disappointing. I’ve never had a large multi-room tent like this before, but the other reviewer is correct. It’s no less than a three person job. It took three experienced camping men right at 2 hours to put this tent up for the first time. Polls are not labeled or color coded at all. Ends had to supports to keep the two smaller room ends up without the rain roof on. It looks like the left two tie-downs off on each end, because we also had 4 spikes left over that could have been used for this. I will purchase tarps to use as a floor for the screened are with. It would have been nice to be able to close those windows when the rain started. The rain rolled off the roof and into the windows there. Also they were large gaps on both sides of that screened in area and the tent. I’m not sure of any way to really be able to close them at this time. Once up, it did not leak during a heavy rain, though I did use a sealer on the areas that I could get to. I will reseal the entire roof when I unload this beast again.

Great tent for large families!

This tent is def huge! We have a family of 7 and we will all fit with no problems. Plenty of head room all the way around. Also, the screen room on the front is quite roomy. The downside is this is NOT an easy tent to put up. It takes a minimum of 3 people a full 30 minutes or longer to put up. The first time was over an hour!
Too hard to put up with two people. Screen room is not closed in on sides and anything and everything could come into the tent. No floor on the screen room. Need a ladder to put the top on the tent. Poles are not color coded as stated. Took way too long to get up.
the only thing holding the sides out is the tether cords there is no support from the middle to the side posts and it keeps collapsing as soon as you get a little wind and the Velcro holding the fly to the poles keeps ripping off.

hard to put up but nice

I am not reviewing how to put this tent up because I knew it was going to be HARD. I like this tent because after it is put up it is nice. Poles are not labeled so I got a marker and labeled them as I checked to make sure everything was there. There are 4 y poles. They are 2 different sizes. The larger ones go in the front of the tent. I found out the hard way. The middle room is a pentagon shape. Like the Chrysler star logo. It will be hard to measure that one. I will measure the rooms when I have a few minutes and post it in the q & a section. I will buy sticky Velcro to put where the screen porch attaches to the side of the tent to help keep the bugs out. The 3 doors across the front of the tent do not have screens on them. Not sure I like that.
