We LOVE it!!!

I can't IMAGINE not giving this five stars. We camp in our minivan and use this as our portable bathroom. If you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS you can quickly and easily put this together. I usually do it myself in about 5 minutes. It's well made, stands up to the wind, and easily fits back in the bag-- if you read the instructions. We use a $9 Coleman portable shower that we also purchased at Walmart. We fill it up, set it on top of the van where it gets hot very quickly, and run the shower hose into the shower tent through the convenient velcro slot they provided. We added an extra piece of tubing so that it would reach from the van to inside the tent. We love that they provided places to hold towels and toiletries. If you want to see how we use it, we posted pics at "www (dot) minivancamper (dot) info". Ignore the few naysayers and buy this wonderful shower tent!

Perfect for a FIRST TIME CAMPER

My biggest obstacle with camping was the concept of having to use the bathroom in a hole or outside and this tent did the trick. It was pretty easy to set up and with stood some windy weather. We used a 5 gallon bucket with pipe insulation around the top and a garbage bag. We would use the bathroom, then cover it with kitty litter and put the lid back on in between uses. It was great for late night bathroom runs and changing. We haven't showered in it yet but I think it will be just fine!

Ozark Shower Tent

I bought this tent for the kids to shower outside of our travel trailer during summer camping trips. After seeing them lining up to use it, not to mention the LARGE size of the tent I tried it out myself. My 5 year old showered with me and I had enough room to have a table setup with shampoo and soap. Also I was able to hang 3 towels out of the way but inside so that we could dry off without opening the tent, so dressing was also extremely easy. The bottom is a nice heavy duty vinyl, like a typical tent. The water drains out of the tent through small mesh sections on three sides of the tent, they are about 2" in height and run the length of each side. There is a hook in the top of the tent to hang a solar water bag, however we use our camper's outside shower by popping the hose through a velcor corner water access point and the velcro holds the nozzle in place perfectly. Setup was about 5 minutes and cleanup was just as easy, I just dried the bottom off with dirty towels and it was ready to be packed up. I highly recommend this tent and I'm looking forward to many more 'summer showers'!!!

A Money Saver

I bought this shower to take to Bonnaroo 3 years ago and I am so glad I did! They charge $10.00 there for a shower. I bought an extra water bag for $7.00 and filled it up with water before I left. You can set it up right next to your tent. There was a storm and it did not blow away. I thought I was gong to blow away! This is a must for Bonnaroo.

The little shower tent that could...and did!!

Once a year I go to the sand dunes to ride for a week and so I have to camp the entire time. In the past I always just went the full week without a shower (ew, I know, I always get that reaction). So this year my girlfriend bought me the Ozark Trail Shower Utility Room. It is very light and when we decided to set it up, it was very easy, and being that I am male, I did not use the directions at all and had no problems!! My girlfriend also bought the solar heated 5gal. camp shower, and the tent held the weight great, I wasn't at all afraid it would fall or collapse the tent! The biggest problem was when I needed to wash my head and upper body, I had to almost get on my knees because the bag hung so low. That might be a problem with the shower, but I figured it was worth mentioning. The last night in the dunes we had very high winds (at least 40mph). The tents blew over and our "pop-up" tent bent from the wind, but the shower tent wasn't affected in the least. Looking at it, you couldn't tell there had been any wind at all! I would recommend this product to anyone considering it, it is just that great!!
