This style of tent offers exceptional room and handles rain and high winds well (due to the 3 pole system). There was no mention of important facts that make a tent really good or just weekend warrior so-so quality. The good: price under $80, tent style, room, includes front vestibule and zip close rear window with peak style awning. Lots of screen for ventilation. I am 6-1 and my head just touches the top. The OK: fiberglass poles (aluminum are much better, lighter but not expected at this price point). Due to 3 top pole sleeves one man setup is doable but until ridge pole is in place the hoops just flop around. Tent uses clips on sides. The bad: this tent has a tarp type floor ( would never have ordered if I had known this) which should be waterproof but heavy and noisy and more prone to leaks during use (still should use a ground cloth underneath). The fly is NOT waterproof only water resistant. There is no PU coating and seams are not taped or sealed (buy seam sealer and waterproof sprays or coating or get ready to get wet). What could have been a great tent with just a little effort by the manufacturer is just a mediocre tent for fair weather use. If you want a tent to use more than a couple of times and that will last for years and keep you dry this is not it. At under $80 for occasional camping and with sealing this tent could work for you. At regular price I would not consider it.
