Love This TeePee Tent
I could not wait to get my Ozark Trail 7 Person Teepee in the mail. What an awesome idea for a tent. I thought easy set up...sure. But I have put this tent up twice by myself now and it is extremely easy if you know what you are doing. I did watch a youtube video and read the instructions before the attempt but I put it up within 15 minutes. The attached instructions are extremely easy to follow and I so appreciate they are sewn on to the carrying bag so you will never lose them. This Ozark Trail 7 Person Teepee Tent is so unique with the 2 pole design and no center pole, which is what I was expecting. You will need to lay out the tent and spike it down, snap the poles together and prepare to place them in the tent. Once you snap the poles together and get them in the tent you will need to remember to pull the extending part of the legs at the bottom. Once you do that, easy peasy up it goes. It seems very well made and durable. It's so spacious, not sure we would sleep 7 in this tent but 4 with NO problem. I also was impressed with all the ventilation this tent has. Easy open windows and you can really get a great cross ventilation going. I really likes all the convenient pockets for storing small stuff like cell phones or toiletries. Lots of little extras you will find with the Ozark Trail 7 Person Teepee Tent. I would recommend this Tent to anyone and everyone who loves to camp and likes something a little unconventional.

Cool tent.

I really like the Ozark Trail 7 person teepee tent, but I did have difficulty putting it up. The instructions do say it takes 2 people. We had to use 3 people. Only two poles hold the entire tent up. So, one person has to stand inside the tent holding those two poles in place while all the outside straps are anchored in place. And then came the hard part. Once everything else is in place it tells you to extend the poles even farther at the bottom until they snap in place. This was not easy while keeping them in there place. Also, once we did this, we could no longer fit them into their Velcro straps that secure them in place. But the poles will stay up and in place without the velcro. Once fully together it's really nice. The inside is really big and it's well made. I really do like it a lot. I just wish it was a bit easier to put up.

Good tent!

Bought this to put in the backyard for a date night idea. Setup was easy and i did it by myself. All you do is spread out the tent, place the stakes in and then place the two poles in. The only tricky part was trying to extend the legs. After i got it extended, the rest was easy. Very spacious! 4 windows, 3 pouches to store things, and a tablet holder! It also has a little slit in the tent so you can pull in an extension cord. And it looks cool! Very pleased!

My Favorite Tent Ever

I'm going to go ahead with the five-star rating. I absolutely loved this tent. I will start with the only negatives which one was that the rain flap over the door zipper continuously got caught when trying to open and close. I have managed to figure out how to hold everything just right so it opens without catching. The only problem with that is I always have to put everything down as it takes two hands. (I'm totally off the grid where I camp and you don't always want to put down what you are holding. Especially in the dark.) The other negative was that the black gnats could fit in the screens. The mesh looked extremely well made and like it should have prevented them coming in, but they fit the little tiny holes! I just pulled the window covers up during the day to prevent them coming in and the gnats went away by sundown so I could lower the covers during the night. Nothing else seemed to fit through. So, the positives: I really liked the windows almost all the way around. As someone else stated, it would be nice to have a screen door. I backed my Jeep up against the side of the tent opposite of the door and slept on that side where there was no window. I was then able to see all around, outside the tent all night. (You know, watching for Squatch and such. (Wink, wink.) I did hear a knock, though!) Anyway, I did like the near panoramic view and it made me feel a little safer being able to look into the dark not that I could see a thing but if I shone a light out I could. The best part was that I could stand up completely to get dressed. I just held on to the tent pole at the top for balance. I also didn't have to step very high to walk into the tent. With the door open you could walk right in. Very roomy. I could easily have fit a chair in with my bedding. The last night camping all the men had left and the grandmother and two young children were left with me. They were a little nervous and there would have been plenty of room for all of us with our gear in this one tent. So two adults and two kids. Three adults could have slept comfortably in there. The set up was fairly easy. Don't trip on your guy lines in the dark!!!! (Not saying I did, but...) Anyway, I've been camping my entire life, (got a few decades on me now,) and I felt this was one of my favorite tents ever. I got lots of complements from everyone who saw it. I've always kept little two-man pop-up tents, 16-man tents, and everything in between. I'm pretty adept at setting up any tent but this one was super easy. It took a couple minutes to figure out how to get the poles set up and extended, but it worked beautifully. I was able to do it all on my own. So, good price, quality remains to be seen with time, easy set-up, easy take-down, EXTREMELY roomy, can stand up straight, and it looks good!

Fun Tent

Used in our backyard all weekend to have some fun activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Had it up from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon with heavy storms (rain and wind) on Saturday evening. No leaks during any of the storms. Should be a great backyard tent for years to come.

1. No. It says it's water Resistant, but don't be fooled. took it out camping this weekend and it rained outside and in from every seam and even felt like it was coming through the material too. Great idea, easy to set up, but you if you think its going to rain, avoid this tent at all cost.
by MKUltra
2. mostly, yes. I was camping when a tornado came through the area. When I woke up the next morning, there was considerable condensation inside the tent, but it was waterproof. I believe the condensation actually came from the fact that the temperature outside had dropped 20 degrees during the night and the windows don't seal at the top, allowing cold air to come inside all night long. But the heavy rains that pummeled the area never penetrated the tent.
