The Castle Of Tents
Wow, this tent is a castle. I am 65 years old and was able to set this tent up by my self with no help in an 1-1/2 hours in 95 degree weather here in Florida, so it's not hard to get it set up. The inside is so impressive with all the open sky view without the top rain fly on, (who needs that if there is no rain in the immediate forecast). I love the fact there are three entrances into the tent. The main entrance has a small porch or foyer area, the other two have screened roofs so the sky view is huge without the rain fly. It's to hot to camp in it this time of year but it will be used in a couple months when Fall gets here. It closes up nice and tight too with longer zipper flaps to keep zippers dry. Also has lots of pockets, 1 in each side room, 4 under main center window and 3 under each of the large side windows in main area. The entire ceiling is screen so you get beautiful sky views I have several other nice large tents but not with this design of so much sky view also only one entrance on the others. I give it a five star rating.

The poles are cheap, will never use again.
Two of the main poles broke the very first time I used the tent. Will never use this tent again.

Carry bag dimensions: 28.5" x 14" x 14"

We received the tent on a weekend where we did not go to the beach so we set it up in our back yard. We have never set up a tent this large so we thought it would take longer than the "average set up time" of 20 minutes. It took three people an hour. The stakes included were sufficient to anchor the tent and all that we needed was a hammer. Everything else was included in the box. One we figured it out and had it set up we added the room dividers and the top cover for rain. The pockets that hold your personal items can be placed in various locations around the perimeter of the tent. The access from the three locations is very convenient for when you want three separate rooms. The zippers are sturdy and easy to move. I will caution against watching the overlap along the zippers when re-zipping since they have a tendency to catch in the zipper. Just being aware of this made it a non issue. I love the overhang in the main entry so you can sit there if it is raining and still feel like you are outside. It also allows a spot to remove shoes which can mess up the flooring of the tent. I like things neat and clean so this is a bonus for me. It just so happened that a storm came through the night we set up the tent and this palace did not budge! The floor is a bit damp from ground moisture but the rain did not get through! Even though the tent swayed a tiny bit I never once felt like it was going to collapse or blow away. The quality and outlay of this tent is top notch. I highly recommend this for camping or even a play house for the kids to use it more often. We will use it on the beach and at family gatherings. I am excited about being able to sit and watch all that is going on without getting burned or bitten by bugs and mosquitoes. Yep- this tent is amazing.

Go big or go home!

There's already some detailed reviews on this so I won't repeat what they have said. We like the separation it gives for our family of 4 that uses 2 queen air matresses. We hang an ipad from a cord inside where the separation panels go so our kids can watch a movie before bed while we enjoy the peace of the campfire. Set up is not bad but it does take up alot of space. I love that the bag is way bigger than the tent so you don't need to worry about folding it just right. Do yourself a favor and by this huge tent.

Home away from home?

First off, this thing is HUGE. When I test set it up at home I was hard pressed to find a flat area big enough to set it up on. Even though it wasn't the most level area I set it up on, set up was easy and took about 25 minutes with the help of an 11 year old. Second time I set it up was with adult help and it went up without a hitch in just under the 20 minute estimate. The main area is as large as my eight person tent, and can fit two queen sized air mattresses. The two wing rooms each fit a single Queen size air mattress, or as I used it 2 twin air mattresses with enough room left for an 1.5-2ft path between them.

I am more of a "glamper" than a camper, so my rule of thumb for tents is to halve the number of people a tent claims it holds for maximum comfort and room for all our gear and toys. My first excursion with this tent was with 2 adult campers and 4 kids aged 9-14. The adults stayed in the main space on a single Queen air mattress, and the kids two each in the wing rooms each on their own twin air mattress. Even with the Queen air mattress in the main space there was still room for for a camp chair and small folding table.

The fact that each side room has its own door made it convenient when nature called on my campers in the middle of the night, and the little covered entry way to the main area made a good place to stow dirty boots and gear mostly out of the elements. The bottle pockets and media pockets in each room were also helpful.

I would give this tent 5/5 on quality, design, and construction, my only concern being nobody makes a footprint for this tent so I ended up using 3 different tarps underneath the tent as a water barrier since it had rained the day before our camping trip.

Lots of room and ventilation

Very large footprint for this tent. Took it to the beach for a beach day with friends and family. Being my first time setting this tent up I thought it would take me a while to set it up. But with the help of 2 other friends it wasn't too bad. We took 25 minutes to set it up. Everybody loved how roomy it was. I only had one queen size bed in it that day. People were using their beach towels to lay inside of it. One of the wing rooms was used as a changing room. Even had room in the main room for a large cooler. Since this was used on the sand I didn't bother to put a tarp underneath it, but when I take it camping I definitely plan to. It will help extend the life of the floor. Overall it's a good buy. For the current Walmart price it is definitely worth it. I've always had confidence in the Ozark brand.

1. You can have up to 3 separate rooms in this tent. There are 2 removable room dividers so you can have 2 side rooms and a main living area or you can remove the room dividers and have a large open living area.
