Huge Fun
I'll preface this review by saying we are not avid campers. We have a young family and only go once in a while. We built the tent in the backyard to try it out before taking it the the lake for a weekend. My husband commented that it was a little difficult to assemble but not too bad. It is a huge space. My kids, 4 & 6, had a blast with the rooms. We also liked the various compartments and shelves. I don't think this would sleep 14 without being on top of each other, but the 5 of is had plenty of space and fun! We can't wait to use it again & explore the great outdoors.

Poor design for rain
This tent is not engineered properly. The green horizontal tubes are longer than the red. It was forecasted for rain that night so we put the rain cover on, only to wake up to the roof pooling up with water and the green tubes bending under the weight. No clue where to find more tubes. Yet, needs an upgrade, not replacing them

Made it through tropical storm crisobal

It did amazing through crisobal !! Yes I got some water in the bottom but our dock is covered in water n the wind was 40 mph winds ! I bought the tent about a month ago . does great in reg rain n amazing n 40 mph wimd . above the closets u will need to angle a pvc pipe on each end from ground. Under the canopy to the upper frame . so it doesn't hold rain !! Very roomy ! N the porch is awesome ! I live in it so its a wonderful tent ! My Belgian malinois lives with me ! Wonderful product !! Its a big tent

if you have a problem putting this tent up don't buy it get a motel, I am 76 and haven't used a tent in 40 yrs and it went up with out a problem. when I opened the box to inventory the parts I couldn't find the corner parts, they were not in the pole bag I though they were missing. I open the tent in our living room (don't do this its big) I found them already tied to the tent which leaves no question on how it goes up

Easy to work with

I love this tent, very spacious. The tent came with no instructions so thats why I give 4 stars instead of 5, but its color coded. Really easy to put together once you lay everything out and figure out whats what. Take down was just as easy.

1. 14ft x 16ft x 84"Height - the full dimensions are listed in the PDF manual listed above on the web page.
by BTVWM
2. 14 ft x 13 1/2 feet is the size of sleeping area and porch combined ....NOT counting closet space. Those add on 2 1/2 feet (each at 15 inches). Stupid they add that to the size of the tent. People think they're getting one much bigger.
by nascarmom
3. The actual size is 13.5size 14' x 16' include the closets on both sides.

1. Yes, the Ozark Trail 14 Person Spring Lodge Cabin's screen room does has a PE floor which helps keep moister from damp ground leaking into the area.
by happycamper
2. ANY tent needs a ground cloth underneath, as protective moisture barrier AND to protect the tent's floor from damage as folks tread upon it. The ground underneath might have pebbles/twigs, etc. and could add unnecessary wear/tear or puncture. Also, if a rain 'comes up' and the tent is positioned wisely, the water should roll away underneath the ground cloth. The ground cloth provides a longer life for any tent.
