My dad always squeezes his eyes shut when I try to put eye drops in his eyes. The eye drop guide has helped. He still squeezes his eyes but the guide reassures him that he's not going to get poked in the eye by the bottle. He is able to keep his eye open long enough for drops to get in the eye.
