Great Product!

This is a great porch swing. Quite sturdy, we love it. The only reason why it is not getting a 5 star is the directions for assembly. The directions are horrible- only pictures, not words, it was very frustrating to put it together, it took about 3 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Quality is not what I expected

I typically do not write reviews because we all have standards of what we think is good, better, and best. I tend to have much greater expectations for purchases and because of that I try to keep my viewpoint to myself. I do however want to make something known about this swing. The paperwork that came with the swing indicated that the swing was to be covered in the rain and it is to be taken down in autumn and stored during the autumn and winter seasons. This information is nowhere in the online description. I can't wrap my mind around why a company would sell a swing that is meant to be outdoors but designs and builds it to not withstand being outdoors. It also does not come with a rain cover so that you are enabled to cover it in the rain. I have had my swing for 11 days. It is already rusting around the welded areas and the legs. The fabric is inferior to what I find on even the most inexpensive of outdoor furniture. The attention to detail is lacking. I want to add that in 2006 we purchased a very similar futon swing from Sams Club. We absolutely loved that swing. When we saw this one our expectation was that it would be very similar in style and quality. It comes nowhere close. Knowing what I know now I would have never purchased this swing. I apologize for sounding so negative but I feel you should know so you can make the best decision for your budget.
