The rug is light weight so I can roll it up to clean under it. It lays nicely in the hall and is the prefect width. I have a matching rug in the kitchen area between my island and the wall of cabinets. It doesn't shed, the color is eye popping and lovely, it doesn't skid and it has just enough body to look great.

Perhaps there are a number of people whom do not like or appreciate a "Turkish Style" rug but this style is one of several which appeal to me. The experience of ordering and through to the receipt of this rug was painless really! The rug was packaged appropriately and after positioning it, I was very pleased...it is gorgeous! I use this in front of cat boxes so being easy to clean and wash is very important to me. Vacuum cleaner does a great job of picking sand up from rug, shaking it also works great. I wash it in my washing machine but haven't used dryer on it but it looks like it would work fine.
