This is a great upgrade to the CS250. It's a good deal and performs well. No it's not the best in class performance wise according to the ratings and reviews. At this price point it can't be beat. The self sharpening feature is in a league of it's own. That one feature alone is all I need to justify my allegiance to the brand.

Chain was a bit of a bear to put on but other than that no complaints, and love not having to deal with a gas saw anymore.
