This is a basic electric toothbrush, which is just what I wanted. If you want more bells and whistles, look at other more expensive models. This model, however, seems to do it all. I like the simplicity of this brush and it accomodates other types of brush heads, i.e., floss action, sensitive, etc.
The brush is very easy to use, though it may take a few days to get get used to it. Remember, this brush does the work for you! No need to move it back and forth. The small round head is cup-shaped so it covers each surface of the tooth very well. The motor will skip a little to let you know it's time to move on to another section of your mouth. The instructions are very clear on how to use the brush.
Be sure not to use too much pressure! Simply move the brush head from tooth to tooth and let it do its work. For the first few days, your gums may be a little tender and you may notice some slight bleeding, but this is normal. In no time, you'll actually enjoy the sensation of the brush. And the feeling when you're done? Like you just walked out of the dentist's office!
