I ordered this particular formula of Orajel Antiseptic Rinse because Walmart does not seem to have it in-store and this is the only Orajel Rinse formulation I like. (I ordered four bottles a couple of months ago through the internet ... very happy with the product and the service). It does not dry my mouth out and kills germs. It keeps me from having inflamed gums (which is not good for anyone). However, I have noticed that this product went up about a dollar and a half per bottle while the rinse with pain killer is still five dollars and thirty-eight cents. Why is the plain rinse more expensive? Sadly, on price increases, it seems like Walmart is taking after that internet giant that starts with an "A" in a negative way.
I typically purchase orajel and peroxil brand mouthwashes for mouth sores. My issue with both is that the mouthwash does not prevent new ones from appearing. While I'm treating one canker sore, several more pop up. It's almost like the mouthwash brings the dormant canker sores to life.
