This was a truly wonderful book. I read it in 2 days. I could put it down. It is really a great book about humanity, resilience, and strength. I would recommend this book to anyone who is greatly interested in the Holocaust or just loves to read.
About This Item
Night is Elie Wiesel's masterpiece, a candid, horrific, and deeply poignant autobiographical account of his survival as a teenager in the Nazi death camps. This new translation by Marion Wiesel, Elie's wife and frequent translator, presents this seminal memoir in the language and spirit truest to the author's original intent. And in a substantive new preface, Elie reflects on the enduring importance of Night and his lifelong, passionate dedication to ensuring that the world never forgets man's capacity for inhumanity to man.
Night offers much more than a litany of the daily terrors, everyday perversions, and rampant sadism at Auschwitz and Buchenwald; it also eloquently addresses many of the philosophical as well as personal questions implicit in any serious consideration of what the Holocaust was, what it meant, and what its legacy is and will be.

What an amazing book
The book came in great condition and very reasonably priced. It was a required reading book for my son's school. The package was nice and tight that the book stayed well intact. Very pleased with the whole process and the book came sooner than they stated.
Everyone should read this book
Wow! What a book. This cruelty shouldn't be bestowed on anyone. I have heard of this through history, but I never even started to imagine the happenings that happened to these men, women and children. I definitely am going to purchase more writings of Elie Weisel. We all need to be better educated of the evils that happened to the Innocent throughout history.
One of the best books I've ever read
I was assigned this book my junior year in high school so I wasn't thrilled to read it. As we went through it though, I fell more and more in love with it. It definitely brought tears to my eyes more than once. I'm a sophomore in college now, just bought the book and don't want to put it down.
Very Good Book!!!
I read this book because we had to read it in class. this book was to me sad because it was based on a young man's struggle to survive a Holocaust concentration camp since he and his father had to go to many. this is a good book if you are interested in WWII or the Holocaust!!! Loved the book and would definitely recommend!!
