My daughter loved it! I understand the negative reviews but you have to understand this is not a 200-500 dollar product so if you are expecting amazing then go and spend the big bucks. However if you are looking for something the kids can have fun with enjoy 3D visuals then this is for you! YES you can play games! Ignore those that say you can't because there are not controllers. All you do is search for games that don't require a controller. There are a few fun ones on Google Play! This works great on my daughters pre- paid smartphone. You don't need a fancy phone for this.

Very worth the pricetag, please read.
The people who say that this product is not worth the money is truly soulless. It is a very basic entry level VR with compatibility issues. It was meant for the most recent androids and iPhones. It is not meant for gaming as it has no buttons. It is purely meant for a minimal VR video experience. For 2 dollars, the price of a candy bar, you are getting a basic genuine vr experience. Well worth the money. Now if this had anything above a 15$ price tag, it would start to degrade in quality. If your thinking about this, get it. You are not breaking the bank for a cool little device.
The headset has no way for me to play a video while it is IN the headset, so to start a video I have to do an awkward shimmy to start video, then quickly put in the headset and put it on my head. Which by then, 20-25 seconds have passed that I could have watched the video. That's the reason it doesn't get five stars from me. Other than that, it's a good vr heatset, I mean, right now it's on sale for $5 and that's what I paid for it. It's not a expensive heatset, hence the price, and design. But I think it's a good first step for someone, or a family to get into vr in general, without spending a lot of money before you know what you're getting yourself into. So, 4/5, would recommend.
they are comfortable and adjustable
aside from the comfortability, these are evidently cheap and lack the necessary hardware buttons when playing games. there are better headsets if you're willing to spend a few extra dollars. Final verdict: don't buy virtual reality headsets from wal-mart - especially if you didn't do your research first. You get what you pay for
Cheap, get what you pay for. Somewhat functional.
Well it does not quite focus. Close to focusing but always seems a tad out of focus. The one lens with slight pressure popped out. Just a couple drops of glue held it in. It does not close most of the time and without some modifications there is no way to control the phone so you are constantly needing to pop it out of the case, which is a pain putting it in and out. Oh and be careful of the holder at the bottom. Easy to accidently shatter your phone screen if you position it wrong. On a positive side it does work with a variety of phone sizes. And is comfortable. Thankfully I paid on $2.50 for it. Worth only about that much.
No QR code to properly format to phone
And part one looked good. Everything was going to be great but found out soon me that there was no QR code on my player to properly formant to my phone I tried to take this back and trade it for another one by that time they were also down so now I'm stuck with this one and no QR code to properly format to my phone I've looked all over the internet and cannot find one specific place that would have the QR code for this make or model
NOT compatible with Google Cardboard apps
I learned the hard way that there are different VR app technologies for Android smart phones, the most prevalent of which is apps built for Google Cardboard. This headset is NOT compatible with games made for Google Cardboard. There is no button on the headset, and a button is almost a must. Otherwise, you'll often be finding yourself pulling your phone out of the headset to touch the screen to make a selection when an app asks you to do so.. I also had trouble with the door staying closed with my Droid Turbo 2 phone inserted. You'll pretty much be stuck with view-only apps and maybe a very small handful of games that don't require you to press the button that Google Cardboard-compatible headsets have. You're probably better off spending a few bucks more to get one of the headsets that come with the little bluetooth controller, if that even works- I have a bluetooth gamepad that works with most normal Android games, but yet doesn't work with any of the VR apps I've tried.
