This is the first and only prenatal vitamins I have tried. I take them right before I go to sleep. They never have made me sick, and in fact.. have made me feel better and a little happier. Love these, and won't be switching.

I've had no problems with this vitamin. I take both capsules every day after lunch. I also take a calcium supplement before bed. Not only is this vitamin good for my baby, but my hair is getting fuller!

perhaps a little TMI, but still important! the only drawback for me was constipation. had to supplement with daily metamucil and other stool softeners the doctor gave the 'ok' on.

    • A. Definitely... it feeds your body/uterus.

    • A. ABSOLUTELY! In fact, it's a must. You must make sure you are getting enough folic acid for the baby before it is even concieved, that means to get a high level of it in your system, you must start at least 6 months prior to getting pregnant to prevent spinal problems or even clef lip. You must get your iron levels checked too to prevent anemia in the fetus. Bottom line all those nutrients must be rich in your blood way before there is even a twinkle in the fathers eye!

    • A. Yes, you should begin taking them while trying to conceive. Once you become pregnant though, you might need to lower the dosage as they tend to increase nauseau during the first trimester. If you cannot stomach them, try focusing more on eating a very well balanced meal to get your daily vitamins through your food intake until the upset stomach phase passes.

    • A. My husband and I went to the doctor the other day to talk about starting our family. He said the first two things I need to do is stop taking the birth control and start taking a prenatal vitamin. The first was a no-brainer. LOL Hope this helps. :)
