This has been my 4th surf rod and I really like it. I haven't quite gotten the hang of loading it for casts since it feels like 2 oz may be a little too much when casting (doesn't feel like it's going to break it though) so Ive been launching 1 oz weights with my pomp rigs. I can see and feel when blue crabs or tiny cat fish are messing with my line. Aesthetically pleasing as well
