I recently got a puppy and when I ran out of pads I bought this brand of pad(OUT! Moisture Lock Training Pads, 50 ct ) to assist in potty training. I knew as soon as I opened the first one that there is a quality issue. The inner pad separates and leaves unprotected spots. I have bought other pads that do not do this and work very well. I will not buy this product again

This looks like the same packaging as the ones I bought at Target for $12.99 except that the target ones measured 22X22 and these said they were 21X23 so I figured I'd save the $3 and have them delivered to my home and save myself a trip but these are NOT at all the same quality as the Target ones. The are noticeable different just looking at them. They tear when unfolding and the absorbant material is blotchy and uneven and rough feeling. They don't leak (unless they tear while unfolding) but they are not as absorbent (larger puddles mean messy feet) and just clearly lower quality. I will not buy these again. It's not worth it.

After more than 4 years of usage, I would still recommend these pads. I have NEVER had one leak or tear. Great value, I can't buy pads anywhere around here that work as well as these without paying an arm and a leg for them. Our Shih Tzu is an indoor dog due to allergies and I use them on a daily basis with no complaints. I have tried several other brands, some cost more and some less, but none worked at well as the OUT brand with the exception of one. At one time Walmart quit carrying these for the Blue Ribbon brand, I was hesitant to buy them but was even more pleased with their quality. I have just found the Blue Ribbon brand online at Walmart's site and may just decide to switch again, but until I decide I will continue to buy the OUT brand at my local Walmart because I have absolutely no complaints about them and would recommend them to anyone.

I usually buy training pads at Sam's Wholesale Club, but after finding they were out of stock, I purchased these at Walmart. They are the worst training pads I have ever used and I have used the expensive pads from the chain pet stores, as well as pads bought from Walmart competitors. I can tell you without any reservation at all that I will not be buying these again. They are absolutely worthless. They absorb nothing. I might as well not use anything because of the mess I am still having to clean up after only 1 night of them being down. My wife and I have three chihuahuas, and one pad is usually more than enough to get them through the night. I have to put up to three pads down in hopes that will be enough and it has yet to be. I am beyond dissatisfied.

I buy the regular size pads as my dog will always be 'puppy' sized. I have physical limitations that prevent me from taking my Yorkie outside, and she is paper trained. These pads are cheap, convenient, and effective. The plastic backing saves me time and energy -- never a mess to clean up, no floor or carpet ever harmed, and my dog runs right to them wherever they are! She will even 'go' a couple of times on them if I forget to pick up the pad after she's done. Just roll/fold them up and plop into the trash.

  • A. you'll be lucky if they last 5 miles. these pads are absolutely worthless. newspaper would be better than these flimsy things

  • A. I would not suggest it. They make thicker, washable pad that would work much better. These pads are very thin and once they have been wet on they need to be replaced. If your dog wets frequently or very heavily these will be soaked quickly. On a long trip this would be quite gross!

  • A. NOOOO, These are, by far, the worst puppy training pads I have ever used. Have been buying a different brand but thought I would go ahead and try these. What a mistake! They are thin, have a tendency to tear, and the padding is non-existent in spots throughout the pad. Also, while the entire pad is the size listed on the package, there is a very wide edge all the way around where there is no padding. So, the useable space is actually smaller than what's on the package, plus the useable space is smaller than other brands.

  • A. Yes. It takes maybe two to three wee wees out of it from my shih tzu before I change to another pad. But in a carrier, you should probably change it after two wee wees. Then again it's your call. If its soiled then do change it.

  • A. If you change them regularly they should be fine. They do dry fairly quick, but your pet will not want to keep going in a spot it has already gone.
