    Great Product!
I've only had it a week but it's doing great so far. Easy to use, easy to clean, the only bad thing is its LOUD. And shipping is SLOW. Why it took several days to get from East Washington street down U.S. 40 to Cambridge City, I have no idea.

Thought Ninja was a good brand...
I'm using model BL451 and honestly worked great cut great. But clean up is not easy... The blade portion of the lid leaks very badly, looks as if there is no o-ring seal around the whole thing so air leaks in and your precious smoothie leaks into the base. The base of the blender can only be hand cleaned therefore it takes over an hour to make a smoothie.

    Best kitchen appliance

I received my Nutri Ninja Pro as a gift about 5 years ago and have used it every day since then. I make a smoothie using a wide variety of raw vegetables (95%) and fruit (5%) with enough water to make it a drink. This 1000W blender never takes more than a few seconds to grind up any vegetable I throw in, from Brussels sprouts to garlic cloves and ginger root. (I admit, I never put an ear of corn in there. :-) It's easy to use, easy to clean and as loud as a jackhammer. I'd prefer a glass cup, but that's probably not going to happen. We're in the 21st century.

    YES!

This is exactly what I wanted! I love that it blends directly into the cup that you can drink from. It saves a step and saves storage. In addition the cups are awesome and saved me the money of having to buy a cup to put a smoothie into from a traditional blender. Awesome product. Make sure that you add an adequate amount of liquid for proper blending and consistency.

    No Pulp No Grit

I made the Ninja 9 recipe in the NutriNinja Pro Blender (BL450). I did NOT PEEL anything but the onion. I added whole flax seed. EVERY ingredient was pulverized! I poured the Smoothie into a fine strainer. All of it drained through without me pushing it through. I've attached photos of the blended Ninja 9. To show the texture, I took a picture of the blades. I've made a Smoothie with Raw Rolled Oats, Stick Cinnamon & Raw Cacao Nibs. Again, EVERY ingredient was pulverized! Frozen Fruit & Ice are easily crushed. Instead of an 18-oz cup, two 24-oz cups should've been included. Another 24-oz cup can be purchased for $20+. But, I shouldn't have to spend another $22. The 18-oz cup is collecting dust high up in the cabinet. For this reason, I took off 2-Stars. Interestingly, 23 out of the 30 recipes are for the 24-oz cup.

    Tedious cleaning

After each use, a residue remains stuck to the white plastic disc. This residue does not go away with rinsing. I don't want this residue in my next drink. So, after each use, I have to insert a knife, lift the disc, remove it, and then the residue that sticks to the disc can go off when rinsing. It's tedious.

    Extractor blade poorly designed

Ninja would be an absolutely outstanding product with a slight re-design. I use my food blender daily for making smoothies and MCT coffees, and have been generally thrilled with one major exception. The black plastic extractor blade housing develops micro cracks which then leaks . Suggest a re-engineering to use a cast metal

    It was great but then...

When I first received the Ninja blender as a gift from my husband I thought that it was the best thing since sliced bread. It is only been over a year and it does not work any longer. We as consumers need to spend our money with companies that are going to Bill products that will last over a year. Products should last at least 5 years, at least that long. So why keep putting money in a product that would only last a year or two? It doesn't make much sense so I will not purchase another Nutri Ninja blender. I've had enough of being taken advantage of, no thanks!

    1. If you don't want pulp you need a juicer. Both of these are extractors and finely grind all of the fruit, skins, seeds (if put in) and all. A juicer extracts the pulp into a container for you to discard.

    5. the only machine that will remove all pump is if you get a juicer. walmart has a hamilton bach? (sp?) one i have thats about $50 with great reviews, i think its the wide mouth one. i have it. that is what will get rid of your pulp.

    7. Any of the Ninja blenders are excellent at pulverizing fruit seeds and nuts...the key is to blend long enough. For the Pulse, a 700 watt blender, it takes exactly 20 seconds. I have used mine for almost 2 years. I make protein and green drinks 2-3 times a day. Watch the cup as you are blending and wait until the "specks" are gone...easy peasy! :)

    8. The Nutri Ninja Professional provides the complete juicing experience. As such it does not leave out any of the nutrients. To avoid the pulp, longer blending pulses will be required to reach your desired consistency.

    9. Nutri Ninja leaves little to no pulp. I blend berries, spinach and kale and I barely get the pulp. No clumps!

    2. so easy to clean. you clean the cup you are blending it in and you clean the screw on attachment that has the blade. thats it. unless you are using the cup lid too and then you would clean that too. best blender i have ever bought. if you buy it and dont like it you can always return it to walmart so you have nothing to loose.

    3. The best and fastest way to clean any blender, juicer or smoothie maker is to fill the blending cup or pitcher half full with some warm water and maybe a TINY drop of soap or vinegar and blend away...the dishwasher, in my opinion, will degrade the blades (same for stainless knives) and the heat will break down the integrity of the metal. Happy blending!! I have owned my Ninja PULSE for almost 2 years and blend 2-3 times a day! I LOVE IT!!! I am thinking about upgrading to this one/900 watts...

    5. There is the carafe, blade, lid if you use it and base. The base is a pain to clean. Because the lid is male and the carafe is female, if you open and close the carafe to stir, smoothie oozes out the sides. It then gets into the catches in the base. Very challenging and sticky!

    6. It's very easy to clean especially since the only parts are; the blade, two cups, and two lids. I swish the blade in soapy dish water and wash the cups and lids as I would normal dishes.

    7. One part and it's the blade. The cup too but if you take it on the go your washing it later. Once you blend you only need to rinse off the blade topper and it's clean!

    9. I love using my "Ninja Nutri Pro ninja" (really!) every day but cleaning the base is impossible without this BLENDER BLADE GASKET HARNESS HACK. I am so happy and surprised that my idea works, I want to share it with other frustrated customers I've noticed on line. NutriPro does not appear to sell replacement gaskets. To get a new gasket you have to buy a whole new blade assembly. Even a new gasket does not solve the cleaning problem. This hack does solve it. If you don’t mind a home-made modification. Step 1: REMOVE THE GASKET without damaging it! Don’t use a knife. Cut two small steps of flexible plastic (The plastic from a food container like yoghurt is perfect)Bend the edge of each piece to create a tiny hook. If you have patience you will be able to hook and pull out the gasket. Step 2: BLEACH THE GASKET Inside will likely be a nasty mess including a moldy gasket. I first tried natural bleaches like oxiclean and hydrogen peroxide, but only full strength extra strong bleach from the hardware store did the trick. (regular bleach would probably work, xtra strong was what we had on hand) Soak the gasket in a sealed jar with a small amount of bleach to cover. It took several days to come clean. Make sure the gasket is completely submerged by propping the jar on an angle. Step 3: WASH THE GASKET THOROUGHLY. Obviously. Soak it until all traces of bleach are gone. Step 4: Important: HARNESS THE GASKET! After going to all this trouble you do not want to simply drop the gasket back in place. It is not designed to remove each time you use it. A really poor design error. In order to continue using your Ninja in a sanitary manner you need to harness the gasket so you can easily flip it out to clean it, every time you use it. Make a simple “gasket harness” by cutting a thin strip of strong, yet flexible plastic. A commercial plastic freezer bag (ie frozen berry bag) is ideal. It won’t break and is easy to clean. Loop the strip around the gasket and staple the end shut. Now you have a harnessed gasket you can pull out in an instant. If you don’t staple the end you are likely to lose control of it and end up with plastic in your drink or a gasket that’s buried back in place and a pain to extract. The loop does not interfere with the gasket’s function and does not get tangled up in the mechanism in any way. It just sits outside of the blender. The gasket and the loop get washed together. I usually air dry the whole thing before putting the gasket back in place. This is much easier than it sounds. It modifies your Ninja blender so that it’s properly hygienic and easy to use. Ideally these these units need a redesign. Ninja should at least sell replacement gaskets for the Nutripro! Nuff said.

    2. you prob can through the company but i wouldnt bother. the lids for the cups are junk. the little lid that goes over the mouth piece does not seal well at all. Air def gets in and if you tipped it upside down, fluid would pour right out with the mouth piece closed. you are better off just using your ninja and pouring it into a better to go bottle bought from your local store.
