I tried several types of sippy cup to try to get my son drinking out of a cup (breastfed). This is the only one he would drink out of. It is pretty easy to clean, although he rarely gets anything in it but water. It didn't leak at all for a few months. After a while the silicone starts to rip in the spout and it starts to leak out. My son also learned that he could turn the cup over and press the spout on a hard surface to let liquid leak out so he can play in it. He is 15 months old. Kids will be kids though. I would swear by these if they lasted. I hate being wasteful and having to throw these out and replace them every 3 months or so. It would be so much better if you could just buy replacement spouts and keep the cup and lid. Overall a great starter sippy cup but now that my son is a bit older I am on the search for a cup that lasts.
