Peace Of Mind!
This Notifi911 Mobil Medical Alert Pendant gives peace of mind to older people living alone and to the relatives who love them. It is a small black box that can hang as a pendent or can be clipped to your belt. The pendant strap can be adjusted to length. There are two buttons on the box. The large red button is the one used to contact the 911 operator in case of an emergency. Press the button for one second and a musical chime sounds and a blue light flashes. The pendant actually calls 911 and allows you to talk to the 911 operator through the speaker in the box. The second button on the box is a smaller yellow button that allows you to perform a system check. Press the button and hold for 4 seconds and the the pendant says “Power on” followed by the version number. Then the pendant then preforms a battery check and says either “Battery OK” if the battery is over 25% or “Recharge battery soon” if the battery is under 25%. Then the pendant checks for a cellular signal and tells you if the service connection is OK . Then it will tell you if the battery supervision feature is on or not. Battery supervision checks the battery daily and lets you know if it is below 25 %. The supervision feature being performed daily, of course, affects how long the battery lasts between charges. With supervision on the battery needs charging every 2-3 months, with supervision off the charge will last 6-12 months. Since the pendant contacts 911 directly there are no monitoring fees involved, which is a big savings. Also this allows your pendent to function almost anywhere as long as there is a cell signal.

Great idea but...
I chose this item through Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program more for my mom than me and was a bit skeptical when it was giving me a 'Low signal strength or no service coverage' while I was inside my home and in my backyard. But it did find service ok in the front yard and I tested it a few times while out today and it had no problem finding service. This is similar to a cellphone 911 call except this is running on 3G so unless they have an updated version, this may not work everywhere you are. It would be great if it was able to upgrade via an internet or wireless connection but I don't see that with this Version 2 of the Notifi911+ Mobile Medical Alert Pendant, or if it's something for newer versions. The extras that do come with it are nice, though, the lanyard looks and feels strong enough to last a lifetime, and it also comes with a clip if you want to wear the pendant on your belt or pocket and then of course, the charging cord. It's all packaged nice and neatly. It didn't take long to charge and when you turn it on by holding down the test button for about 4 seconds, you'll get notifications about power, battery and service, but be patient while the device searches for service as that could take a minute, more or less. All pretty cool and the voice is surprisingly clear and surprisingly loud but it was disappointing when I did try a 911 call and after letting her know I was doing a test call, she let me know it worked but actually it didn't work well on my end because the device didn't give her voice the volume needed to hear her clearly. I could barely hear her even when I put the pendant closer to my face. If you're looking for good news about this item there is no service fee, no monthly fee and although it might be a little more to purchase, overall it would save money over time. I mentioned earlier though, my concern is coverage and if it doesn't pick up service every where it's more of a risk than an assurance and then there is that problem hearing the 911 operator which is the deciding factor for my review today. I wanted to give it at least 4 stars but after my test use, I can only give it 1 star. It's a great idea though.

So Convenient and Easy to Use

Love this. I have been wanting to get one of these as I have arthritis and some times my balance is not that good. I didn't really want to have to pay a monthly charge as they can get pretty pricey. So I was very happy when I was offered the opportunity to try one of these for free thru the Spark Review Program. In the box is everything you need and it took me like 2 minutes or less to set it up. I was so surprised. There is a sheet with it that tells you exactly what you need to do. There is a battery charger with it and it comes in a water proof case. It also can be worn as a pendant or on a clip. The battery is suppose to last up to 6 months. I plugged the unit into the battery charger and it was actually fully charged. Then all I had to do was push the little button and it talked me thru what was happening. Battery was OK, Cell Service was OK. Then it went to stand by. To speak to the 911 operator you push and hold the big red button and you can speak to them thru it. PLEASE ! though if you are testing it with calling "911" DO NOT HANG UP! Talk to the dispatcher on the other end and let them know that you are testing the unit. I now feel a much safer especially if I am alone and would have to go down stairs or would trip and fall. I can connect with one click.....

This is Terrific!

This Mobile Medical Alert Pendant Notifi911 is terrific!! The instructions are very easy to follow. The set up was uneventful and everything went just like it said in the User's Quick Start Guide.

Mine was already charged so I did not have to wait the usual 3 to 4 hours. The communication with it was very clear and the voice was very easy to understand.

I opted for the Battery supervision to be “on” and it was straightforward as to how to do it! This setting meant that the battery setting will be checked every day and it will notify me is action is needed.

Everything was clearly explained and I had no questions. There is, however, a troubleshooting telephone number to call in case you have questions or concerns.

I already have it around my neck! Be careful if you are washing dishes or??

It could get wet.

My neighbor had a problem and needed to call 911 but she was too weak to get to the telephone…This would have helped her.

I am so happy to be using this.

This Mobile Medical Alert Pendant Notifi911 could be a real life saver so for that and all the rest of the above I highly recommend this!!! I hope we never have to make use of it but if we do how wonderful that it is right there when needed!

Notifi911+ pendant a must have..

Received the Notifi900+ pendant is a much needed response and mobile emergency addition to my accessories. I am doing a review as a courtesy for this item. I have followed the instructions and the pendant functions properly during the testing. The instructions provided are quite explicit and to the point and easy to follow. This pendant is an access to my needs. Fortunately, I have not used the 911 emergency feature as yet. But, knowing I have the availability comforts me. It holds a charge well, has a charging indicator light, a green power light, blue call in pocesd light, test button and speaker. Convenient and easy to use.

No Phone Needed, No Fees

After an unexpected slip on mud landed me in the E.R. for a couple of hours, and had not my neighbor seen me fall I might have been on the ground for quite a while since my cell phone was in the car when I fell. I'm a senior that lives alone in a very rural area and it was then that I realized I wouldn't always have my cell phone on me every moment.

So I was very interested when I heard about the LogicMark Notifi911+.

First of all, no fees and secondly, I don't need to have my cell phone with me. It's a pendant that is actually a 3G Mobile phone that only dials 911. It comes ready to use and charged, with a clip-on piece and a lanyard. It has a test button that gives you status information as to the battery's charge, the cell signal strength and whether the battery supervision is on or off. It comes with a plug for charging.

Fully charged, it has a standby time of 2-3 months when the battery supervision turned 'ON' and a 1 hour talk time and it checks the status of the battery every day at the same time. With battery supervision 'OFF' it has a standby estimated battery time between charges of 6-12 months and you can manually check the status by pressing and holding the 'test' button. With this pendant, I can speak directly to the 911 operator and give them my information. Also, being water resistant, it can even be used in a rainstorm.

So on my first outing with the 911+ pendant, I drove down into the valley town of Waymart, surrounded by high mountains the pendant began informing me that there was no signal. I noticed that my cell phone had all its bars, so I didn't worry. Ten miles from home is a small town in the middle of a forest and is aptly named 'Forest City' and I never have any cell signal there, but the pendant had a signal and I was able to contact a 911 operator without any problem. I explained that I was testing the pendant's signal and thanked him for his time. I showed it to my doctor and he was very impressed. It's my new companion.
