Nothing in Common (DVD)

Good movie that still holds up well. Tom Hanks is the young, self-centered advertising professional who is thrown for a loop when his parents separate. How he deals with taking care of them both is hilarious and touching all at once. This was Jackie Gleason's last movie before his death and he turns in a superb performance, even though he was ill at the time. Eva Marie Saint's performance as the careworn but frustrated mother is good as well. The supporting cast is terrific, especially Sela Ward as the tough but beautiful CEO and Hector Alizando as Tom Hanks' boss, whose obsession with his bald head provides lots of comic moments.
