The Nintendo Switch is a multi-functional console! It’s pretty awesome that you can plug the console directly on the TV or have the option to use it as a handheld via a touchscreen device! It is super easy to make the “switch” based on your preference: 1) you can have a traditional controller (where you have the left and right controller attached to a main controller frame), 2) you can detach the left and right controls, so you can move your hands independently, or 3) you can attached the left and right controls to the touchscreen and make it mobile! My favorite part about this console is the flexibility of converting it from being docked and into a touchscreen screen! There has been many times when I am playing on the TV and then have to go somewhere else, so as a result I have to start the game all over again. But not with this new console, because I can easily switch to the handheld on the go now and it syncs up perfectly from where I left off! I also like that the console itself is pretty compact and doesn’t take much space, since it stands up vertically. And the handheld has a decent screen size, not too small or big (it’s a nice size to hold). The joy-con controllers are sleek and comfortable to grip as well. I got to watch other people play three different types of games using this console, which offered very different game plays: 1) 1-2-Switch: it was super fun and funny having two people compete against each other one-on-one. Some of the games include: milking a cow faster, dance off, sandwich eating contest, and more, 2) Mario Kart: it’s a classic race game and it’s always fun (you can play with up to 4 people while playing on the TV mode), and 3) The Legend of Zelda: you can go on an adventure and explore by solving puzzles. There are many games that will meet what you would like to play. If you are considering a new console, I think this is a great option for the price! You will enjoy your time with your family and friends. I am writing this review as part of a contest.
