The Ninja rocks. I purchased a cheaper blender before this one and returned it. The Ninja will power through frozen bananas like a boss. I can walk away from it while it is turning my frozen items into a smoothie and it stays put. And, it holds a lot in the large pitcher. I am very happy!

ICE TO SNOW in Seconds!
This blender is awesome!! I'm so glad I received it for free to write a review. I've never really used blenders much before just because it always left drinks chunky, especially the ice part. So, of course, the first thing I tried when I got this blender was ice. The outside of the box said that it would blend Ice to snow in seconds. I really didn't think it would work, but it did! I used hard ice from your standard ice-making freezer. I threw in about 2 cups and locked the pitcher and lid into place. NOTE: One of the safety features of this blender is that the Power light will blink off and on and the blender will NOT work if you don't have the pitcher AND the lid locked into place. The manufacturer suggested to use Medium power for ice. So I hit the "medium" button and stopped it after literally 3 seconds. I was AMAZED!! It was truly "snow" ice. I emptied the entire pitcher and went through the cup with a spoon and there were no chunks or slumps of ice!! I've attached a picture of the snow ice. I then used this to make a smoothie with some frozen fruits and orange juice and a little ice. It was delicious and FAST! I can't recommend this blender enough!! HIGHLY SATISFIED!
