This is simply amazing!
I was a little skeptical when I first saw this Ninja Foodi, I thought it was going to be just another multifunction pot. But this is more than that, I first tried the pressure cooking it was easy to put the lid on and it was not noisy as other pressure cookers can be, I cooked beef it was done and tender in 45 minutes. Then I decided to cook a boneless chicken breast I first pressure cooked it for 15 minutes then I broiled it for 10 minutes with the crisping lid, this was the easiest most delicious chicken I ever cooked! It was moist in the inside and crispy on the outside I could not believe it. It actually works perfectly. The cleaning of the pot was easy no sticky mess or complicated washing. I also tried the saute option with meat but it was not great, sauteing works better with veggies or something with less volume. I absolutely love the Njnja foodi, this will be a part of my kitchen for years to come. The size is perfect for all your cooking needs.

Not Simple
Pros: - All-in-One Multi Functions: Pressure, Steam, Air Crisp, Tender Crisp - Big cooking pot Cons: - Power Cord way too short - Quite heavy - Having a separate lid isn't convenient - Storage takes too much space because can't put everything (second lid, pot, basket, diffuser, rack) inside the cooker - If only the Cooking Sheet was written on the cooker, it would be nice because a piece of paper tends to disappear - Nothing Automatic or Preset - Not simple I tried to cook regular rice. A normal Rice cooker only need to press one button and it stops when done without asking any temperature or time and it keeps warm after cooking done, I can open it at any time to check This cooker asks for the temperature, the cooking time, and then press the start button When the cooking time ended, the lid was locked and couldn't be open before turning the valve to completely depressurize (I though I almost broke the lid by trying to rotate the lid) Luckily I set almost the right time (just a little bit too much water) otherwise I would have to cook again which is really not convenient at all.

Pressure Cooker + Airfryer = Mind Blown!!

I love my pressure cooker! So many nights I have no idea what I am going to cook for dinner and don't have very much time between the kids' homework, basketball practice, church, step team activities etc. I love that I can throw food frozen or thawed in the pressure cooker and cook up a wonderful, tender meal so quickly! I also love my Ninja Airfryer! Chicken patties, burritos, reheated french fries, frozen onion rings and so much more! It is healthy, crunchy, crispy, I don't have to heat up my kitchen with the oven or waste vast amounts of oil and it tastes great in minutes! My kids love using the Airfryer too! Now with the Foodi I have the best of both worlds!! No really... no joke! I can pressure cook, steam, roast, air fry, and so much more all in ONE pot. No need for the air fryer and the pressure cooker my Ninja Foodi can do both!! While I love the pressure cooker it really does leave much to be desired because all of the food comes out fall off the bone good.. but sometimes comes out soupy, and doesn't have any crispy, crunchy texture. Fall off the bone wings are good but crispy, air fried fall off the bone wings are better! Fall off the bone ribs are awesome but Crispy, air fried ribs are amazing!!! It does take some practice and getting used to the way it works but once you get the hang of it you'll use it every night!

Best cooking invention in years!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this appliance is. I have tried making so many things in it & it never ceases to amaze. It is going to cook a turkey breast for our Thanksgiving dinner, with no trying the recipe out first. That's how sure I am that if I follow the enclosed directions, it will be perfect. The concept of the product intrigued me, but it has not disappointed at all. Just by removing the various parts it converts quickly from a pressure cooker to an air fryer. The directions include recipes & also variations to adapt to your own cooking style. The unit is easy to pick up and doesn't require much counter space. Its sleek design is great even if you have to plug it in to another room. We had it on a server in the dining room and it was fine. The calories and arteries saved cannot be measured. We used it for french fries, chicken nuggets and a host of "deep fried" type appetizers. They came out perfect & crunchy=so unbelievable. We have used it for rice, instead of our steamer & it was great. Also used for cooking meat, which was great as some of our vegetarians hate to see meat cooking. This keeps it out of view, but smelling terrific. Everything comes out moist and delicious. Can't wait to try the bread and dessert recipes. This is a must have if you're in the market for this type of device. It has revolutionized my thinking on how and what I will prepare. I look in the booklet & get inspiration from there! It is easy to assemble & disassemble and the parts are a cinch to clean up. No more cookie sheets cluttering the oven & drainboard. Just plan out your menu and this item can streamline your time.

All-in-One Awesome

This "Ninja Foodi OP300" Tender/Crisp Pressure Cooker Is awesome. The setup was very easy. The lid locks down safely you turn the lever to seal and in a very short time you have a fully cooked chicken (4.5lbs.) Then you hook on the crisper lid and with a few minutes, a perfectly brown and fully cooked main coarse ready to eat. The unit is well built with a easy to read LED display to let you see what temps and function you are working with. The pressure valve on the top makes letting the steam out with a turn of the nob. The unit cleans up well and a very stylish small counter top appliance. The Foodi comes with many recipes and helps you flavor up your food that you are cooking with easy to understand instructions. The fact that it has 2 lids is great. Blue for pressure cooking and Red for crisping. Easy and fun to use. Highly recommend to all.

A wonderful better way to cook!

This is an amazing product. I have never used a pressure cooker before, however, I do have an air fryer that I use several times a week. This Foodi allows me to cook great tender chicken, turkey, steak, ribs and fish on top of the rice, quinoa or couscous, potatoes and vegetables. I have made it all to put the Foodi to the test. I read the instructions and recipe book and got great recipe ideas and easy to use instructions. It has a permanent air fryer lid and a separate pressure cooker lid. It is genius. All the pieces are easy to wash and non-stick surfaces. I became a pressure cooker expert within days. I now understand all the hype about cooking with a pressure cooker. My food tastes so much better when cooked in this unit. It is fast, easy to use and cooks my food to a tender, tasty and then crisp air fried finish. The clear instructions guided me on how to pressure cook my food and then air fry to finish. This is a great idea. Ninja did it again with this unit. Another excellent product. I definitely recommend the Ninja Foodi. The unit is large and heavy but necessary to get the professional restaurant grade food results, well worth the counter space. I no longer need a stove or air fryer. I am so happy to cook new recipes with this wonderful better way to cook! Definitely try it and you will see what I am talking about and enjoy the results.

Pretty impressive

I have never used a pressure cooker but this one is pretty easy to use and comes with plenty of instructions and recipes. This thing is pretty large and heavy though, so if space is an issue, it may be a problem. The quality is very nice for this type of kitchen gadget. I have cooked large baked potatoes and they came out perfect in 25 minutes. The pressure cooker lid is separate and clicks into place easily. I also used the crisping lid that comes attached and acts as the new type of air fryer and it worked very well also. Cook time was about the same as on the package but the fries were very crispy and delicious. There are also many other things that can be cooked in it. I haven't cooked meat yet. Cleans up easily.

You Won't Be Disappointed

I like this product a great deal. There are also some things about it that give me reservations. I currently have an Instant Pot and have been using it for about 4 years. I love it. It has lots of great functions and performs very well for me. I was very excited to try the Foodi however because in spite of the Instant Pot's great capabilities it does not have the ability to crisp and fry. This means that if I want food crispy after cooking it in the oven I have to put it under the broiler in the oven to get it crisp. An extra step and more work that I would rather lose. The Foodi not only pressure cooks, but it crisp which takes out the extra step for me. I love how the pressure function works on the Foodi. The food comes out perfectly juicy and quickly. I was surprised just how fast it came up to pressure, and our food was cooked in no time. I also like the air crisp function. I used it after pressurizing to crisp the meat portion of a dish and it made the meat crisp on top without drying it out. I have also used the air crisp function to cook fries and ‘fried' chicken (thighs and wings). I will say this function works great. The wings were crispy and not overly dry. But they do require constant attention (just like frying) so you don't burn anything. The Foodi does have some drawbacks however. The base is heavy and huge. I was surprised by how heavy it was. I could barely carry it. It also takes up lots of counter space. I'll have to get rid of other appliances from my countertop just to make room for this. The cord is too short. It also has accessories that don't all fit inside the base at once. Namely the top for pressure cooking, the crisping basket, and the rack. So this means that you have to find other storage options for these parts. I'd also like to see more recipes or videos online of food ideas that I can prepare with the Foodi. It would make the learning curve a lot easier when learning to cook using this appliance. All in all this is a great product with a few drawbacks design wise but not in performance.

A good do everything cooking appliance

You could pretty much expect that with the success of the Instant Pot, that Ninja would have a competing product. As expected, the Ninja Foodi would have more features and do more. However, it is surprising how large, costly, and ambitious the Foodi turns out to be. It is foremost an automated pressure cooker. But to add versatility, it is also a browning/crisping convection oven, and a rice cooker, and a slow cooker, and a …, well you get the point. I couldn't wait to bring the Foodi into my everyday cooking. Rather than trying all the recipes in the included book, I tried the Foodi and what I was going to cook any way. Since nobody is going to read a 10-page review, I'll just talk about two things I needed to cook. First, as the all-important pressure cooker, I was going to make beet root chutney, a delicious condiment I encounters on my recent trip to New Zealand. The large beets were placed in the cooking pot and cooked under hi heat and under pressure for 15 minutes and then allowed to decompress naturally. They were perfect! The next step was to cook the beets again with onions and apples until all ingredients were soft. Here I wanted to cook the ingredients as if they were in a regular covered pot on the stove. There was not a simple way to do this. Amazed, I looked in the included recipe book for a soup dish which would be equivalent to what I wanted to do. There were none to be found. Now, I might have been able to use the pressure, steam, or slow cook mode, but none of them really worked the way I wanted. So, I had to revert to my Le Creuset to finish the job. Next, I cooked up some frozen sweet potato fries using the convection mode crisper. I loaded the machine with a pound of potatoes and fired up the crisper mode for 19 minutes at 360 degrees. After 10 minutes, I used tongs to rearrange the fries. The machine opens easily with no fuss nor a blast of hot air. The fries turned out nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – absolutely perfect. My overall impression is that this is a good machine, but it duplicates functions that can be performed by your existing kitchen appliances. It can definitely replace your manual pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, or rice cooker, if you have one these. It can't really replace you range or wall over. It doesn't perform better than the appliances it replaces but is more convenient and easier to use. However, it is large and heavy. You may be challenged to find a place to store the beast in your kitchen.\

A bit big

I love this Foodi! It has a lot of features and functions that are awesome! It comes with a recipe book as well as a "cheat sheet" to help you adapt to your own recipes. It comes with everything you need to make a good variety of foods. The appliance itself also looks nice & high tech. On the other hand, this thing takes up a good deal of counter space. It also will not contain all of its parts when not in use. I think if the different accessories nestled together-- it could have been 5 instead of 4 stars for me. It has two different lids, one attached and other detached. Having to switch these out during same recipe can be a little bit of a hassle. Overall, I'm pleased with my Foodi. I'm sure I will grow to love it more, the more I use it.

"I'm Under So Much Pressure That I'm Steamed".....

Ninja Foodi OP300...........  Now, this BEHEMOTH is somewhat easy to use if you follow the instructions carefully. BUT, BUT, BUT, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too heavy & cumbersome to use daily. It's shape & weight is that of a propane tank  or a short stocky hot water heater or gas tank. That's what it looks like. Very intimidating as a kitchen appliance. Ninja's appliances are just so gargantuan. The ATTACHED lid id super awkward as it does not remove for when using the pressure cooling lid of which comes separately. That means, you have to leave it openwhile the pressure top isbon & in use. The attached lid has a fan in it which serves as the crisper lid. The product slips show that there should be three different lids included. There are NOT. There is the attached lid (which really can't be counted as a separate lid as  it's attached to the unit & can not be removed )& there is a second lid. The pamplets also show the lids are supposed to be 3 different colors, black, blue & red of which the separate lids are the blue & red ones. Well, you only get one lid which is the pressure cooking lid & neither the attached nor the crisper lids are different colors. Both are the same as the unit, black/gray/silver. I cooked a bunch of steam veggies in this. The pressure cooker is my fave. The crisper is a sham. Nothing's crisp. A pretty brown color but, not crisp. I followed the instructions to the letter. I tried a head of cauliflower & turned out delicious but NOT crisp. The seasonings definitely need to be added before cooking. I used dry rubs that I concoct on the fly. Usually salt free but of course, salt of any kind or mix can be used. I actually did use some salt on some the other veggies I cooked. Back to the cauli, it turned a beautiful color as my pic shows. It just wasn't crispy at all. In fact, it cooked even more making it softer than I expected. The instructions state to add 1/2 cup h20 to pressure it first on low for 3 mins. Then, pat dry & rub with oil & use crisper lid for 10 mins to crisp. I tried this TWICE. Once removing the h20 before crisping & once, leaving the h20 in while crisping. Both times yielded a soft cauli. One with more color. The pic shows you the second time without the h20 when using the crisper. I am least looking forward to trying the searing, broil & slow cooking features. The roasting feature turned out the same results as the crispier feature. The food was soft with no roasting effect. More of a bake-boil type texture. Perhaps I need to try more proteins. For the sake of the "spark program", I have to give the reviews as they request. I do intend to write another review of the other features. It's going to take me a bit more time though. Nowadays, money + food = broke. Sooo, yeah, that part.  All in all, I don't know if I'd recommend this or not. I'm on the fence with this one. I'm leaning more towards no on this one. I still don't know even as I type this. Perhaps, for experiments' sake, I'll say yes, give it a try but, don't .......... It just a big machine that's not offering anything different from those like it that take up lesser space, weigh less & are easier to use. It's just TOO big, HEAVY & BULKY & not worth all the hype. It doesn't do what is says aside from pressure cooking. The crispig feature sucks. Perhaps if they redesigned it to a more sleeker, easier to use, taking up WAY less space & not feel like it needs a 2 man job to pick it up. I appreciate you allowing me to 'vent".
