I bought this tablet as replacement on 12/13/16. the tablet was okay up until the end of Jan/2017, when the display started to fail. I was instructed to return it to the manufacturer directly which was done sometime in Feb/2017.
received the replacement toward the end o FEB/20174. exactly 12 days after received, the new replacement stated to shut down, after checking with the charger attached, it was determined that the battery was defective and did not how the charge for more that 15 or 20 minutes.
Again Nextbook was contacted and the replacement tablet was sent back and next book replaced it with another tablet (#2). this was at the beginning of March/ 2017.(#3). When to replacement came back(#4), about two weeks of use, the tablet started to shut down every time I touched or accessed any icon or link on the screen, this tablet even corrupted 2 new Micro SD cards I added to additional storage ( a 64 gig and 128 gig), my loss.
I was so upset, that I wrote to Nextbook indicating that I wanted a refund or a voucher either from them or from Wal-mart so that I can replaced the tablet from
another manufacturer because of bad product they put on the market.
Netbook stated that they could only replace the tablet which was still under.
warranty and I told them that they would have to pay for the return shipping for replacement this time, which they did.
I am now on #5 and already the tablet is starting to shut down again after touching the icons on the desktop. and it appears to be going the same way as the other 4 tablets, I'm giving it a few more days and to see what happens.
Never had any problems with any product purchased at Wal-Mart before until I got this product. I was not able to return it to Wa-lmart when the 1st one was purchased because of the return policy with electronics at the and had to rely on Nexbook return policy, and now I got stuck with a very bad product, (paid at the time $179.00. (this tablet #5 was received back on 9/28/17 a few days ago).
Wal-mart should make sure that what they sell to consumers is a reliable product and not a defective lemon. (5 in my case so far)
My advised to you , choose another brand,
Your turn Wal-mart, any suggestions.
