I've had fun with this remote Jeep. It moves forwards and backwards and side to side. It can do complete circles. All this on my concrete driveway. However, it doesn't move in the grass at all. It takes two double A batteries for the remote and three batteries in the Jeep. It has good get up and go.

Tons of fun for big & small toy truck fans!
My son is a huge fan of cars and trucks, and he loves this New Bright RC Ford Raptor truck! It is well built and durable. It is built in a 1:24 real scale size, making it look just like the real pickup trucks and my son loves pretending that he drives "to work" or "off-road" like his dad. This RC truck requires 2 AA batteries for the control and 3 AA batteries for the truck. The truck is a good size for even younger children to play with. The colors are bright and the realistic look make this RC truck a lot of fun to play with and provides many hours of joy for young and old the same. I highly recommend this RC truck for every little and not so little toy car and truck enthusiast! There are many different real scale models available to choose from and to add on to your collection.
Great for beginner
New Bright RC 1:24 Scale Ford Raptor Radio Control Truck is great for a beginner! It seems to be made very sturdy for little ones. The controller is light weight and very easy to navigate. The monster truck works well on wood floors, cement, and grass! I really like that it has an 80ft range. The controller and truck have plastic tubes to put over the antennas. Just be careful they tend to come off easily.
Fun for a small child
Truck is about as big as my hand but could be a lot of fun indoors for a small child especially on hardwood not really suitable for outside not a whole Lot of power but if you're looking for something for a small child indoors on a hardwood floor this is really a good toy has a good range on the antennas a little over 10 feet , takes five AA batteries Seems like it wouldn't take a whole lot to break it but for light use this is probably a pretty good toy.
Small RC, Big fun!
I had the opportunity to play with the New Bright Blue Mopar Jeep RC Radio Control toy with my four-year-old daughter. The design scale of this particular toy is 1:24, a bit on the small side in the realm of RC's. However, despite the compact design of this toy, New Bright has done a terrific job mimicking the small details in the Mopar Jeep design (from the rear-trunk tire to the roll cage). A small flag and wire covers are included for both the car and remote control. This toy is super light-weight and is really ready-to-go from the box, once batteries (not included) are installed. My four-year-old mastered forward/reverse controls and directional maneuvering in under five-minutes of play. The New Bright Blue Mopar Jeep RC Radio Control truck packs some decent speed for its size, and navigated nicely over smooth surfaces indoors/outdoors. I did find that this particular RC had difficulty climbing over more rough terrain, like grass and dirt, although I expected this when considering model size. If you are looking for a speedy little radio control car for an indoor space or for a portable RC radio control toy option, this particular toy is absolutely perfect. If you are looking for more of a "stunt" vehicle, I might recommend a larger to-scale model. We have experienced battery-life lasting around 2-3 days when played with intermittently throughout the day. Overall, my daughter absolutely loves playing with the Mopar Jeep RC, and asks for it at least once a week. Add a little bit of adventure to your child's day with the New Bright Blue Mopar Jeep RC Radio Control toy!
Remote Control Truck
This battery operated truck is not too big and not too small. This remote control truck was very easy to get set up and running. It took me less than five minutes to get it going, which kids love. It comes with a remote control. The remote control has two small joysticks on it. One joystick is for the forward and the reverse function. We had to push it forward in order to make the truck move forward and down to get it to move backwards. The other joystick on the remote is for the left and the right steering. We had to put two AA alkaline batteries in the remote, and we had to put three AA alkaline batteries in the bottom side of the truck. That is a total of 5 AA alkaline batteries. I was not exactly happy about that. The truck's exterior body looks very cool. However, our truck's exterior kept popping off. We were so disappointed in that happening constantly. The truck did a great job with going where we directed it to go, but as soon as it hit a wall or during handling it, it would kind of pop its body casing. I thought maybe we were doing something wrong, but I do not think so. I do not feel this truck was tough enough for proper use.
Black / Red Ford Raptor RC
Black / Red Ford Raptor RC.
This was so much smaller then expected which was a bummer but my son still liked it. It does run off batteries which I expect to not last long. It seems to work fine but not fast at all. It doesn't work well on grass. Otherwise it does last a fairly decent play time unless played with continuously. I
would recommend. Thanks Wal- mart for the opportunity to try this product.
Several small issues
I gave this little remote control truck to my 9 year to put it thru a true test. The truck looks just like a Raptor so in that aspect the company did good. A couple small problems I have had already is the batteries tend to fall out of the bottom of the truck. I put tape over the plastic battery door to try to keep it from happening every other time they drive it. The truck has limited range from the controller. Once you get about 10 feet away it will no longer go. I was hoping for better with today's technology. It will do for a short time but I don't see it lasting.
