New Balance Men's 990v4 Made in US Shoes Black

I've been wearing New Balance 990v4 for years and think they are a great shoe. I wear them daily. The price is steep but I used to get a reasonable discount at Shoes.com. The discount is not as good and therefore I do not purchase them as often as I used to.

I was happy to receive the delivery. I believe that these shoes will come with lucky days.

I bo't these for my 86 year old father to wear for PT following a stroke. He is in rehab and now has comfortable stability with these 10AA Running Shoes. He says "these are the most comfortable shoes I have owned in 30 years."

My husband has purchased various generations of this shoe and he absolutely loves them. He can get the width he needs (AA!) and he finds them very comfortable. He wears them every day.

I have not bought this model of New balance in more than 7 years and it's better than I remember. It is very comfortable, excellent fit & soft ride. I walk 3+ miles everyday & it's a pleasure to wear these shoes. Worth the price.

I bought a pair of these New Balance 990v4's and was so enthralled by the way they fit, that I immediately bought another pair! The 10.5 part of the equation was right on, and the 6E part was heavenly. I've been a runner since the 1970's and always had a wide foot. I suppose as you get older your foot spreads a bit, mine from 4E to 6E. Conventional stores only carry 4E.

I will vouch for the workmanship that went into this shoe. New Balance has always been the "Cadillac" of running shoes, around the crowd I run with. With this pair there was no break in period. They just fit right from the start.

It was worth the extra money, although I got a pretty substantial discount from shoes.com. When your shoes don't fit, your day is ruined right there. Don't hesitate on these. Especially if you have feet like a duck like I do.

These shoes have the remarkable feature of making it possible for me to walk more than a short distance without experiencing disabling back pain. The shoes may not work that way for everyone but they work that way for me.

Somewhere along the line new balance changed their sizing on some of their sneakers. Otherwise they are great sneakers.

I need a very wide width and New Balance offers a few models with a 6E width. This model is very expensive but so far the fit and comfort are worth it; otherwise, you are simply throwing your money away if the comfort isn't there.

Been purchasing the 990, 991, 992, 993, and now the 990v3 and the 990v4 over the past few decades. The shoe has improved in cushioning and has become lighter over the past few iterations. However, the quality has suffered as a result. Pairs used to last me two years, and now last me less than a year. Specifically the 992 and 993 compared against the 990v3 and 990v4 show a huge difference. The cushioning is more bouncy on the latter, but the shoes feel "dead" faster than before. Tradeoffs to consider.
