I am a dermatologist, I assure this isn’t dangerou

I am a dermatologist and people who ask me if this is dangerous don’t know what they are talking about. This treatment is completely safe and involves no risk/ long term effects

Pleasantly shocked

I just tried this product along with Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel, in the last 2 days. I was so sceptical, about a stupid light and a spot treatment that could just flake me out. To my astonishment, it honestly worked! I had a zit on the side of my nose right next to my tear duct and it was about the size of a pea..Embarrassing and hard to pop. I did double up on the light treatments and used the spot treatment, day and night. It worked to satisfaction! Don’t expect Mount Everest, to become a mole hill over night.

Nice travel size

I got this to try keep my light therapy going even while I’m gone, because I can’t pack the mask very well. This works just as well as the light mask for spots on my face.

Unique but Time Consuming

I tried the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Pen over the course of a week and a half consistently using it three times a day on my problem areas. I liked the sleek design and the ergonomics of the pen itself. On the other hand, the actual treatment processes was a bit lengthy. I didn't enjoy having to leave the pen in one spot for 2 minutes or needing to repeat the processes three times daily to achieve any results. I don't have much acne but I do get breakouts from time to time and suffer from pesky whiteheads and blackheads on my nose and chin area. When applied to my breakouts I did notice a reduction in redness and inflammation. It's tough to tell for my blackheads, but I think I have fewer small ones yet the larger ones remain the same. Overall, it's tough to argue that the pen doesn't achieve results because it does. And, after all, it doesn't claim to be the only product you need just a helpful addition that for some, more than others, may be worth the extra time. Pimples still there, but less painful.

It's been awhile since I've been so excited to try a new product. My acne is painful and takes forever to go away. This is unlike any product I've tried. It's not messy, doesn't have to dry, and doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. I couldn't wait to try it as soon as it arrived. Immediately, I took it out of the box and tried to figure out how it works. Unfortunately, when I first turned it on it was facing my eyes. You do not want to look directly at this thing. It's so bright! After playing with the light (waving it like a lightsaber), I placed it on a zit above my eyebrow. It felt awkward to hold there the first few times, but I like that it has an automatic timer and is lightweight. In the morning, the zit had shrunk dramatically. Sadly, it did not work as well on my other spots. They are still there, but were less inflamed after a few days. It's not a miracle worker, but it seems to reduce swelling. It's worth trying out. I'd recommend it for a few spots, but not the whole face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
