    Outstanding pasta replacement

Walmart needs to carry more stock on these! When I do find them...IF i find them, there are only a handful available to buy. Took the advice from other reviews...cut open bag into strainer, rinsed twice, tossed into boiling water and then drained again. They have virtually no flavor, and absorb whatever flavor you put them into i.e. sauce, soup, veggies, broth, etc. Out of curiosity I plowed my nose into a freshly opened bag to see if there was fishy odor...I did not smell anything bad. Still, I took the advice and am happy with it. Best thing since sliced bread for those trying to keep excess carbs in check but still want to eat "noodles" I've even taken left-overs and put in fridge, nuked the next day and they were still very springy & crunchy. Amazingly filling and satisfying for even a 200lb guy. Walmart needs to also carry more varieties of these i.e. macaroni elbows, fetuccine. Or add option for online purchase + store pickup. I'd buy at least a case per month, maybe more. I can't get enough.

    Stinky but yummy

Boy oh boy do these things smell.. but they are great tasting! I run them under water to rinse them off first before I use them in stir frys and other dishes.

When you really want pasta, but cannot have it

I'm not diabetic, and I'm not trying to lose weight. I have hyperinsulemia; which means I have too much insulin in my system. Because of this, I have to watch my carbs and sugars. To much of either could send me into hypoglycemic shock due to all that insulin going on a binge and it does not know when to stop eating up my blood sugar. My Endocrinologist has me on a very special diet, and she recommended Pasta Zero. I was very pleasantly surprised how it tasted like actual pasta when I made spaghetti sauce. The only problem I had with it, is the texture. It literally felt as though I was chewing rubber bands...and I just could not chew enough to break this stuff up. That is my only complaint. The instructions do say to rinse the pasta to get rid of the "earthy smell." It definitely tasted like pasta, so that is a plus when you really want to have pasta. It's just the texture that got to me. I'm sure if I keep implementing this in my diet, I will eventually get over the texture, and it will be a perfect dietary option for me.

    A God Send!!!

I have FINALLY FOUND MY ANSWER for a subsitution for pasta!!! Yay! I have been living the Adkins Lifestyle for 10+ years now (I'm 5'8" & 130 - 140 lbs depending) as I do NOT eat bread, pasta, rice, etc and honestly do miss it = THAT IS UNTIL NOW!!! I was buying lunch meat at Walmart and saw this = tried it tonight in some Chicken Spaghetti and it's AMAZING :-)# I was having Dreamfields on occasion but it's not so low carb & THIS IS!!! No guilt and I won't have the weight gain worry :-) AND no strange smell and no taste really and so easy to prepare! What a wonderful addition to my limited diet :-)# I did not have a problem at all with the texture = just make sure you dry it out in the skillet after the quick rinse in the collander# LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS = Will keep it at all times in the fridge as a sub for Pasta = it's perfect!!!

    Great alternative to other pastas.

I had heard that other fake noodles had a gross fishy smell to them, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that these noodles has little to no odor! They taste like ramen noodles before any seasoning. They are more 'chewy' than normal noodles and tend to cool off very quickly. To combat both of those problems, put them in a skillet on the stove on low to dry them out a bit (makes them easier to chew!) and to keep them warm. I recommend soaking the noodles in a sauce/spice as they are very bland but they soak up the taste of the sauce/spice wonderfully! All in all a great product that I will definetly be making a habit of buying from now on.
