Nalgene is the old standby....it is great for holding a liter of water. Nalgenes are great for camping, hiking, and your general outdoorsey fare. I primarily use mine to haul extra drinking water to work since I don't drink water from the faucet there. But I am not crazy about using the Nalgene as my direct source for a number of reasons. First of all the top screws on, which means you need two hands. Second of all, since the bottle is so wide it doesn't fit easily in your hand, it won't fit in your car cupholders, and it won't fit in the treadmill cupholders at the gym. The good news is the lids screw on tight so you should have no leaking if used correctly. Nalgenes are also known for being sturdy but beware, if you hold a full Nalgene by the plastic hook on the lid, it will break eventually.
