To be honest I rather wish dextrose could be purchased at lower prices due to widespread availability. For those of us who are either diabetic or pre-diabetic, this form of sugar is essential (since biochemically it has none of the fructose that is found in all sucrose/cane sugar).
Perfect for cooking, baking, and anything that requires the pure, "good stuff"! :-D
