    Great Long Lasting Tires

I have been using these tires on my Tundra (2WD) 5.7l for quite a few miles, still on my first set. I have put over 30,000 miles and 6 years on this set and there is still quite a bit of tread left on them. This past winter I got caught in a snow storm that was quite heavy (3" in 2 hours), especially for North Carolina weather. The traction on these somewhat worn tires was much better than I expected without the electronic limited slip diff turned on, and then was sure footed as a billy goat when it was on, even with a 2WD truck on normal backroads and interstate. I was more than impressed since I was sure to never take that truck out with those tires in the past. I am now considering that this is the tire for this truck for the next set and I am extremely happy with the noise level (even though it has grown over time), wet & dry grip and with the mileage that I am getting out of these. The only downside to these tires are grip in wet grass, but what tire does not have that?

    Best Sport Truck Tires!! 285/45/22

I Love these Tires!!! I was astounded at how quiet they are and how long they have lasted. I will state my only con that I have first, that is they flat spot after 2 days of sitting on my drive way and take about 5 minutes of driving to level back out( which I expect form such a large low profile tire). Besides that let's get how amazed I am with these tires. I remember the days when big tires did good to have 30k miles on them. I have @ least 30-40% of tread left & am pushing 55k miles so far. Not only do they handle rain like a Champ(Florida Boy...it rains every day), and keep my truck planted rain or shine....I had them on in PA last winter during some of the winter storms. I shocked all of my family that lives there with how well they handle even the snow storms, surprised myself too. Definitely will be the only tire I ever put on this truck, and plan to switch my wife's Lincoln Sport Ute over to a set of 421q's when the time comes. Great Job Nitto for making an amazing tire!!

    Great tire

This is the fourth set of tires on this SS/T Ram 1500 pick up. Wet traction has always been an issue, original Goodyear's were the worst, sometimes so bad I wondered if I was going to make it up the freeway on ramp in the rain! Yokohamas were slightly better but still slippy in the rain and noisy! then Kumho's, no improvement in wet traction but quieter and wore like iron! I wish I had these Nitto NT420S back then! the wet traction is phenomenal they're quiet and responsive ! I have not been able to break traction even trying deliberately. Sadly I'm preparing to donate the truck after 235,000 miles of faithful service. I'm so impressed with these Nitto's that I'm looking to have a set NT05's or NT555's mounted on my SRT8 392 Challenger. Even dry traction is a challenge on the current Hankook's, they handle well but can't take the power that car puts down, passes at the Drag strip is out of the question. I hope to solve that with a new set of Nitto NT05's.

    Tire Wear.

My truck has factory installed 22'' rims. 285/45/22 is the tires size that have been on the truck for 60k. The tires seems to have wear funny. inboard of all tires have worn out excessively compared to the outboard of the tires. The tires have a cupped shape to them which may have caused this. When installed on the fronts of the vehicle the round the outboard edge of the tire while destroying the insides. I have kept up with the tire pressure 32 psi. Tires need replacement 10K but I was unaware of the problem due to only looking at the board sides of the tires. Plenty of tread left on the rest of the tires except on the inboard edges of them they are destroyed. I had the alignment check and it was with inspects of the factory. There is also a vibration coming from them that I never noticed until I got a second car. I love the look but hate that they didn't make the potential life expectancy of the entire tread.

    love these

look great on old vehicles comfy and everything you want for city, or a town vehicle and not rutting up a yard.
