My ISP had been recommending an upgrade to my current modem and router to match the speed of my plan. I had been following this Netgear model for a while and got a good price. The combo modem/router was easy to install, but I wish the quick set up guide would have mentioned that after securing the cables, you must contact your ISP to establish the new equipment.

I dropped cable and went to streaming but kept my internet service with same carrier. However I was constantly turning tv off because it would just sit there and buffer. So
Times I had to call cable company so they could reboot box. Very frustrating But Since I've had this NETGEAR box my tv works better than when I had cable and internet is faster as well
