I used it on the tabernacle at church, which has very ornate work in the brass. The very ornate work, I used a toothbrush on and it came out beautiful. The remainder that was flat, I was able to polish to a beautiful finish. I have tried other polishes, but none as easy that was able to give such a finish

I confess, I'm in love with Mr Metal.
I discovered this product 17 years ago and am a loyal user to this day. It works on pewter, silver, gold, brass, Armetale and vintage hammered aluminum, which I collect. It takes a few applications to get through what I call "the scum layer". But once Mr Metal cuts through I have a vintage hammered aluminum piece, renewed to it's original shine.
Great product very little effort needed for most jobs. Removes tarnish easily

NOT a "Liquid". You DO Have to "RUB
I ordered this item because the title specifically states "Mr. Metal Polish - 'LIQUID'", and the product label description specifically states "NO RUBBING, NO BUFFING". Both claims are lies. This is not a true liquid- it is a thick, viscous, opaque, whitish-blue pourable cream. You have to apply a messy, stinky, ammonia-smelling "coating", and then let it completely dry to a powdery finish. Then, you have NO CHOICE but to RUB it and BUFF it off. It is laboursome to get it all off, especially in small crevices and detail work. I finally had to use a toothbrush to get it all off and out of the crevices. Not happy that the Title AND the Label were completely false. $4.00 is not worth my time and effort to return. This falsely-advertised product has already taken enough time and effort from me.
