Game is a very different take on monopoly, and truly gives the kids some idea about how democracy works.  The blue/red concept is easy to follow and monopoly fans who are looking for something different should definitely try this game.

have always loved the classic Monopoly; this is a fun twist especially in these political times! :)  The votes count (haha).  buy it.

love it

i loved Monopoly as a kid, and played House Divided while visiting family.  I just had to have it at home. I like that it isn't designed last as long as original Monopoly. You'll need to add a few house rules to keep it fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this monopoly because it looked fun and something I could use in the classroom. It took a little bit to get used to the rules but it was fun. I like that it does not have to take a long time to play. It should be fun for students as they are trying to get the states and win.

New twist in an old game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A new way to play monopoly.  Now you are a candidate in the red or blue party and you buy states and add campaign headquarters once you have all the states in that color set.  You get to land on a campaign bus spot where you can choose to move any spot on the board before another campaign bus spot.  You also get cards you can pick to steal or swap out another players state and of course the get out of jail free card.  The I Voted spot is where your voting chips come into play, pick a card which can be voting on someone paying the treasury money, move back spaces, make everyone pay another candidate money or even just pay you.  The White House token doubles your rent on your states and if you win with it, it is 10 extra votes, but whoever rolls doubles can take this token away.  There is also the familiar free parking and of course pass go collect $200.  When all states are claimed the game is over so whoever has the most votes added up from the states they own wins the game.  This will have you laughing and some crying!

Fun family game

This version of monopoly was a bore. You think it put the family to sleep more than anything.To confusing,stick to the regular version.This game went into the closet and Im sure before long it will be ripped apart or dropped on the floor and straight to the trash.Waste of time and money.

Pass!

Its very flimsy compared to the regular Monopoly game; the rules are unclear, especially with respect to the silly little cardboard voting chips. It is such a convoluted game which 4 adults attempted to play after Christmas dinner, but after 30 minutes of frustration and disappointment, we dumped everything back in the box and its on its way to being donated to a charity.

Very  upset. My product is damaged. I am so disappointed my daughter and I are collecting monopolies so this sucks to have  damaged boxes.
