Easy to assemble. It's an awesome scooter and my 8 year old daughter, loves hers! She gets all sorts of compliments on it, from Kids at school. My only complaint is there are two bars, on the back wheel and it's easy to hit them, when you kick/push off.

Great for 7 year old!
I bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday. She has been asking for a scooter for so long, but we have only a rough yard and gravel driveway for her to ride on. This scooter's larger tires worked great! She loves it! it is the perfect size for her and my 5 year old son can ride it too.
Great Big Boy Scooter
Assembly went well. Took about 30 minutes. I did loosen the wheel bearing nuts slightly on the axle shafts because they had them compressed too much causing extra friction when you spin the wheels. Now the wheels spin freely. The frame and handlebars work great - up to 220 pounds can ride on this bad boy. I would say it for an 8 year old or older since it is the largest scooter Ive ever seen or riden. The 12" wheels roll over everything I have put in it path -Grass, Dirt, cracks, - No Problems at all. I did upgrade the brake pads to BMX pads to get better stopping. The brake pads it comes with are not that good. Now it is a blast to ride, and we love it. It looks like it will last a long time. Great product for a great price.
So glad they make them again
I had scooters just like this when I was little and I looked for years for some for my kids. Couldn't find them until just recently. My kids wanted those razor scooters and I think those are insanely dangerous. A little rock can throw you off balance. These scooters are tough and heavy duty. I can ride them- and I will. They are fairly easy to assemble ( I got 4 of them. 1 assembled, 3 to go). So yeah, thanks for making these again so I can get my kids out of the house and on something besides video games.
Great Adult Kick Scooter After Mods and Rework
Out of the box this scooter is rough at best, not really usable at worst. Either take it to a bike shop and have them assemble and optimize it, or be ready to do a bit of bicycle mechanizing yourself. I completely disassembled the Expo, cleaned the metal shavings out of the bearings and cups, lubed and adjusted same, then took to the brake system. I am no stunt rider, so I had no need for the 360 rotation feature of the bars. I purchased a basic brake replacement cable and housing set from a department store, ran a single solid cable for the rear brake, affixing it with plastic zip ties. I rerouted the front cable, reversing the two attaching bits which anchor the cable at the caliper end. Now the front brake is configured like a basic bike brake, and the rear is 50% more effective. I also roughed the brake pads front and rear, and cleaned rim braking surfaces and pads with isopropyl alcohol and made sure not to get grease or oil on either surface. Now it's a super fun, dependable, simple scooter. Also removed all stickers. At less than $100 invested, including tools, I certainly can't complain, but I take away a star because of the effort/skill/cost required to make it right.
My Grandson LOVES this scooter, he says it the coolest thing he ever received as a gift and this is coming from a 11 year old that has pretty much everything. He also got a new bike and still this is #1. The Instructions could be better, brakes are very hard to get right that's why I took away a star. Overall great purchase, sturdy and a great brand I am sure it will last him throughout his childhood. Much better than any other scooter out there.
Two points of caution
This is a well built scooter. I am 215lbs and gave it a vigorous test ride for my 8 year old. It held up well with my weight, off small drop off in the grass and on hard surfaces. The two cautions I would make are the hand breaks are pretty tight and hard for my eight year old to squeeze. Also the breaks don't exactly bring you to a screeching halt. If your on a hill headed toward an intersection you will likely have to hop off before heading into traffic. The other thing is the foot pegs. Although a great idea and they look cool. They are right in the way of a natural kick and you will likely wack your ankle a few times before learning to kick out to the side.
i'm not sure about the quality
i bought this for a Christmas gift for my son,it arrived in pleanty of time...its Christmas Eve and im putting it together...Packed very well, however it is scratched on the handle bars and sticker not looking well.....the bearings in the forks both top and bottom dont seem to be greased and very stiff,i'm hoping it will perform correctly, the bearings in the rims are stiff also....clip retaining washer missing for rear wheel . it would be ok if walmart sent me a touch up paint tube or something to fix the gouged handle bars !
