Excellent!

This antenna worked perfectly. I tried the Mohu leaf 50 and Mohu Leaf 60 and was not able to get all of the network channels. I called Mohu and they recommended the Sky 60. They explained that each city in the US usually has 1 analog network channel. I live in Orlando and that analog channel is NBC. The Sky 60 was able to reach NBC perfectly while the other 2 antennas did not. I paid a handyman to install it in the attic. Works perfectly!

25miles from NYC Nassau Long Island, it WORKS!

I live about 25 miles east of New York city; Hicksville Nassau County of Long Island to be exact. Around my area, there is ONE cable company which has exclusive monopoly as the cable provider, so once the promotional rate has expired, they charge you CRAZY amount of money for cable TV. So I decided to cut the cord and go for OTA. I did tons of research with tvfool and all the other tower location websites; they said since I am within 30 miles from the towers, I should be okay with indoor antenna. I tried TEN DIFFERENT brands of indoor antenna, but NONE of them worked. Even Mohu leaf indoor antenna did not work. Mohu Sky 60 outdoor antenna was my last resort since I realized an indoor antenna will not do the job unlike the website like tvfool says. Took me about 30 minutes to climb up in my roof and drill this antenna on the top. As I was doing the channel scanning, I started to see 10, 20 no 30 and MORE channels detecting, my heart was pounding. Weeks and weeks of research and trial and error of indoor antenna came to an end. Now I have all the basic OTA (even the ones from NEW JERSEY for kids channel) so I don't have to waste any more money with those big TV service providers. So if you are like me living in Nassau County Long Island, try this antenna. If you are further out in the island, you might want to try higher miles of Mohu antenna. To me, this one worked like a magic! Price was kind of steep at $100 but this was less than 1 month of subscription of the TV Provider, so I cannot complain. NO MORE OPTIMUM ONLINE!!

Best outdoor HDTV antenna

Successfully tunes in all channels within 60 mile radius. It is omnidirectional, meaning you don't have to point it in any specific direction. The signal strength was excellent just above the roof, but even better when raised a foot higher. It came with a USB powered amplifier that either plugs in an included AC adapter or directly into an available USB port on the TV. In my case, my Samsung TV already amplifies the signal and thus do not need to use the USB powered amplifier. The Sky 60 does have a high price tag, but with the long range capability, included USB powered amplifier, and small flat profile, it is a great buy for anyone who wants to watch OTA TV for free.

High on roof may not be required ...

I installed this Sky antenna in several locations outdoors but found the VERY BEST location for me was near ground level right next to an aluminum gutter downspout! Moving away from the downspout was worse, as was installing it on the eave of my roof ~12-15' high. Cut your cable bill!

Due to the high cost of cable TV, and being retirees, we finally "cut the cable". This device allows us to access forty, free over-the-air channels. Easy to install. We have basic Wi-Fi service from our old cable provided and all the local channels we want to watch. Retirees are depleting their reserves and can't afford the high cost of cable and all the government add-ons piled on-top of our bills any longer.

did the job

Used it for a fishing cabin off the grid to get locals ABC,NBC,CBS and FOX and it worked great. Customer service is very good. They told to try the Leaf first and to return it if I was to far out and it didn't work, and I was and returned it no problem. Very easy to hookup also.

Better Than Most

Easy and light enough to move around trying to find the best spot for TV reception. Our last antenna was a Terk TV55, which cost $100.00 10 years ago. Since then we moved out into the country, 50 miles from the brodcast antenna. The "Terk", a directional antenna, got good reception but you could only hear half of the words spoken at the very best. Very annoying! Now, with the "Mohu Sky", a multi-directional antenna, the reception is much more constant with way fewer audio cutouts. We use it indoors on the livingroom wall about seven feet high, the only location it will pick up a signal. Really made watching the "Packers" vs "Falcons" game this last weekend enjoyable to watch. We still only pick up the same four stations but with more clear reception. Yes, we would recommend the Mohu Sky. Thank you "Mohu" for making such a good product.

Work Good

Basically work good though not as good as it claimed. The web site showed me I can get up to 64 channels, but I actually only get 16, maybe this is because trees around my house or height is not enough. The night time signal is much better than day time signal. I get 12 channels during day time, and can see 16 channels in night. I am satisfied with 16 channels. At least, I can see tv free!

Stronger signal but still not enough

I have tried more than five different HD indoor antennas and bought this Mohu Sky 60 to see if it would yield a few more channels than my current Wineguard Sharpshooter SS-3000. After trying numerous places around my house, both inside and out, I returned the Mohu antenna. It pulled in a few channels stronger but others not as well. I think my location is just too blocked by other buildings and hills, as I have the same problem with every antenna I've tried. I did not try mounting it on the roof, as that's not an option for me (HOA rules), nor do I have an atic. For the extremely high price, I can't recommend this antenna.

Pre amp failed in minutes.

When I first set up the antenna I was impressed with the number of HD cannels I recieved, but that did not last long. After 10 min the little white pre amp failed to allow a signal through it. Without it my channel selection fell from 10 channels to 3. I have called there tech support and left a message no return call yet... Walmart just may get this back.
