Great tire for an excellent $$

I usually purchase performance parts and tires for my vehicles because of how hard I drive them. And although these are no performance tires they have been holding up well. They provide great, not excellent, traction in the Texas heat and on rainy days on pavement, asphalt, and cement. Although I don't recommend you try this, I did drive them through the mud as well without getting stuck or loosing control of my vehicle, but I drive a 1999 Subaru Impreza with All Wheel Drive and a little more than 5" of ground clearance.

Great tire for the price! 205/55/16

These are by far the best tires I’ve tried for the price. Last time I saw them at less than $40 at Walmart. They are quiet, great at braking and fast rolling. The company needs to improve them in the cornering aspect. All around I recommend these tires. My last set gave me a good 50K miles and still have some few thousand miles to go.

Legitimate Alternative to Michelin

I was skeptical of the Milestar tires, but after reading numerous reviews on Amazon and seeing near universal praise, I thought I'd try it via Walmart, because the tires could be shipped to the store and mounted locally. Aside from inventory issues – Walmart shipped 3 tires instead of 4 – and a 5 hour wait for installation at my chosen store (I picked up the tires and drove 30 minutes away and had immediate service) – the tires have matched expectations. There is only a very subtle difference in handling on my 2004 RSX. The Milestars are very slightly softer – but the handling is still great. They were easier than the Michelins were new to balance. The Michelins maxed out weights to balance one of the tires originally, and near end of life, one of the Michelins had a bulge – and they lasted 40,000 miles less than the set before them. Overall, the $550 savings by going with the Milestars vs Michelins was well worth the savings. I will, however, have to wait for Seattle's longest dry spell to end to see how they handle during the rainy season.

Great Tires! Great value for the money.

Wonderful tire ride! I purchased these tires on line July 15th 2017 by the 18th they were at my St James Goose Creek Superstore in SC. They replaced the tires on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. They were on sale so I saved $14.00 and I saved $13.00 since Walmart considered their installation a pick up. My total bill was under $290.00 with the tire warranties I purchased from Walmart . Now if that was not good enough these tires feel better than the tires I had on my car when it was new. I actually pulled my car over to make sure they had put the right tires on my car! What a cushie (soft) ride! I am 63 years old and this is my 6th car, so this is not my first tire replacement. So I highly recommend these tires. They also handled well in the rain. Don't be fooled my name brands. This tires provides and impressive ride. Be Blessed and drive safely.

THEY WORK in SNOW and Ice.

These tires have been on my Honda Civic for a couple thousand miles now. I was happy with them but did not want to write a review until I found out if they were good in snow. I am happy to report they do good in snow and ice. Better then the average all season. I planned on buying winter tires , but I am getting around just fine with the Milestars. Highly recommended.
